I recently stayed at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Williams, AZ, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Upon entering the bathroom, I immediately noticed hair around the toilet, which was disgusting. The shower head was covered in red and white scum, making it clear that cleaning is not a priority here. To make matters worse, the refrigerator was off when we arrived, meaning we couldn’t store our perishable items right away.

The biggest issue, however, was the front desk receptionist. Arrived at 2:40pm and greeted with a policy about check-in at 3pm and to come back. She was rude and unwelcoming, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. A simple greeting and a little professionalism would have gone a long way.

Overall, I would not recommend staying here. With so many other options in Williams, I’d suggest finding a hotel that prioritizes cleanliness and customer service. I suggested the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel, which includes a dining room, or the Best Western Plus hotel next door.

After a long day of driving, we arrived to find ample parking and a clean, well-maintained property that felt safe and welcoming. Checking in was a breeze, and we quickly made our way to our rooms. The Wi-Fi was excellent, and the room itself was clean and comfortable.

The hotel’s amenities—including the pool, gym, and hot tub—were open and ready for use, adding to our enjoyment. The beds were comfortable, the linens clean, and the bathroom was spotless, which made for a pleasant stay.

Breakfast was a standout feature. I had expected a simple continental offering, but I was pleasantly surprised. The free breakfast included a variety of options: good coffee with toast, cream cheese, butter, and jam; yogurt; make-your-own fresh waffles; fresh fruit; cereal; pre-made over-hard fried eggs; excellent breakfast sausage links; hash browns; and orange juice from a dispenser. There was also plenty of seating for relaxing or enjoying breakfast.

This hotel is conveniently located right off the highway, making it an ideal stop for travelers. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality and amenities provided.

Hotel management attention please: Keep doing what your doing. Your staff has taken care of us.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room with 2 King beds was perfect. We loved the location, cleanliness, and exceptional service. The breakfast spread was also impressive.

Good place to stay the night and good location as it is only 1 hour away from Grand Canyon South Rim! The Inn has a good amenities with indoor pool and gym. Check-in and check-out were seamless and staffs are attentive. The room was clean and well-maintained. however, the bedsheet and duvet is questionable as I noticed that they are slightly dirty. Breakfast spreads were adequate with good variation. Overall, a good experience to stay the night before or after visiting Grand Canyon!

We had a wonderful stay over Spring Break with our family in the middle of an unexpected storm. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The location right outside flagstaff was perfect for us as we were able to go to antelope canyon and take the train to the grand canyon amid crazy weather. The breakfast options were also fantastic with something for everyone before heading out on long days.

We stayed here on our recent trip to the Grand Canyon. Location is great if you want to visit the Grand Canyon Brewery - we walked across the parking lot. The hotel was clean, however be warned - there are a lot of dogs that stay here because they do not charge a pet fee. Our pull out couch in our room appeared to have quite a bit of dog hair in and around the cushions. Also quite a bit of staining on the couch cushions. We also had to request bedding for the pullout couch, which should have been already provided due to our reservation being for 2 adults and 2 kids with 1 king and a sofabed. The front desk worker on duty would only give me 1 pillow for the sofa bed for my two kids, because "a lot of people ask for extra pillows." Sounds like it's time to order some more pillows. My husband was able to go down later and get a pillow from a different staff member. The breakfast was great, and overall we had a great stay here.

We stayed one night in the 2 king bed room. It was very spacious. We loved the table between the beds to have a good size area for our meals. The fridge was well working with no issues. The a.c. worked amazingly! We stayed in room 103. We were so lucky to be on the first floor. Loved that there was 2 TV. In the room so the kids could have one while hubby and I had the other. The dark black out curtains worked well to keep the light out in the morning so we could enjoy sleeping in. The bathroom was very nice. I love that they use dove products for soaps and lotions ect. The shower was a very good size and the kids loved showering in it. All fixtures and doors worked so effortlessly like they have been recently remodeled. Very nice to not have to close a door hard or slam a drawer shut. The room door is not an auto closing style so you do have to shut it. Not a problem at all just something to know. The breakfast was great as well. Self serve waffle makers available, toast, bagels, yogurts, apples, eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage, lots to enjoy! Also different juices and milk available. There was also a 24 hr coffee, tea, hot chocolate section you can use whenever you want. The fitness center was a fair size and had multiple machines all in good working order. Ice machine is only on floors 2 and 3 but the elevator worked great with no issues. The pool was smaller than expected. I don't feel the pictures give a good size. The max capacity is 35. The pool only goes to 4ft. The hot tub is built into a corner of the pool which we thought was very cool but also took space from the pool. The pool is an indoor pool. Plenty of towels were stocked. There was also a bar area we did not use or see an employee at but it could be limited hours. Overall wonderful experience here and would definitely stay again happily.

Clean. Quiet overnight. Somewhat noisy once guests started getting up. Only one minor problem with the room - bathroom door handle was broken. Overall a very pleasant experience; would stay here again.
