All of the staff is obviously trained end encouraged to be courteous and friendly to their patrons. Our room was slightly dated, But very clean and All of the hotel was very nice. The pool and hot tub were super clean, And the hot tub was a great temperature. That's something that is common for hot tubs to be Luke warm. Or not working at all. The Hot breakfast, Was better then most, It had Pinto beans and green chili. And shredded cheese for anything that you wanted it on. It is pet friendly with only a twenty five dollar fee. I definitely plan to make this my stopping point on future trips back-and-forth to Texas. Highly recommend

My recent stay at the La Quinta in Trinidad was a pleasant experience. The location is perfect, with easy access to downtown Trinidad and surrounding attractions. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making check-in and check-out a breeze.

The room was clean and comfortable, with all the essentials provided. I appreciated the comfortable bed and quiet atmosphere, which made for a restful night’s sleep. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety, and the hot coffee was a great start to the day.

The hotel amenities were well-maintained, including the fitness center and common areas. The pet-friendly policy was a huge plus, as I was traveling with my dog and felt welcomed.

Overall, La Quinta in Trinidad is a solid choice for anyone looking for convenience and comfort while exploring this charming area. I would definitely stay here again!

Passing through the area on a 20 hour drive with two small kids. We were tired, we were stressed. We needed somewhere comfortable, quiet, and clean to get a good night’s sleep and I’m so glad we chose this hotel.

Is it the fanciest, most updated hotel with all the frills? No. But it was CLEAN, the beds were super comfortable, and it was quiet and safe. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we found ourselves back in the area.

And the staff? If I could give the service at this location 10 stars I would! It was so apparent that customer service and friendliness is made a priority for the employees at this hotel - everyone was SO nice and went above and beyond to make sure you were satisfied and had what you needed. Especially the young man serving breakfast!

Located next to a Walmart which is nice. Hotel staff was very friendly. Hotel is new and the room was very nice. We had a detachable shower head that was awesome. The indoor hot tub and pool was great as well. Definitely would recommend to others.

The lobby and breakfast area were well cared for clean. Everyone was very nice. Our son loved the hotel breakfast, and the young man serving the omelets was very nice and helpful.
Our only issue was the cleanliness of room 203. We understand they probably have designated rooms for pets, unfortunately that includes shedding dogs and cats. Our Schnoodle doesn't shed, so we aren't used to pet hair on furniture. Definitely had a cat smell in the bedroom area. If there could be some deep cleaning of the carpets and furniture in the pet rooms (to include behind nightstands), we would definitely rate this place a 5!!

Rooms clean enough, but grime and dirt in corners and crevices of furniture, room, bath, etc showing lack of detailed/deep cleaning.

Breakfast is one half step above regular hotel breakfast. Lots of options. However you can’t serve yourself which is weird given its not high quality food. Just regular hotel slop.

If you have a room near the kitchen laundry etc ask for another. You can smell/hear the staff in the morning.

The hotel was so clean. The rooms were lovely. The windows are open so you could get some fresh air and see the mountains.|The breakfast was delicious and had a lot on offer. The staff was really very friendly and very welcoming. We love the historical photographs and the information displayed on the walls. |The patio outside was very enjoyable in the late afternoon early evening. Can’t say enough nice about this place.

Best La Quinta we've ever stayed at! The lobby welcomes you with warm decor and staff greetings. Very impressive little winter wonderland display during the holiday season! Rooms were very spacious and had swivel TV so everyone could enjoy the movie. But it was the breakfast team that really stood out: super tasty New Mexico style (potato + egg + beans + green chili) plus the largest cereal bar my kids ever seen! The breakfast team was super hospitable and helpful, even though we overslept and only had minutes before closing, they were super sweet. Thank you Nikki and Karson!
