Upon check-in, they made sure to tell us that they REFUSE to offer extra towels if needed, and instead they will only replace the exact amount of towels you already have daily. They also REFUSED to give us an extra blanket upon request, also saying that they don’t give extra of anything (I’ve never had a hotel decline linens when requested without any reason) pool has been ā€œclosed for maintenanceā€ for MONTHS. The only good thing I can even say is the breakfast was OKAY (not great)

Having to go to Walmart to purchase the extra linens I need when it should have been provided is absurd. The other hotels in the lot are cheaper, and will provide you with everything you need to at least be comfortable. Made the mistake of booking here this one time. Will not be booking here again.

I booked a hotel for the night of February 24th, and since I had insurance, I placed my order for food.

Unfortunately, my package was stolen. The delivery person informed me that there was a security guard on duty who would not allow him to bring my food inside the hotel. Instead, he had to leave my order at the bar while the security guard was present.

When I became aware of the situation, I went downstairs to ask the hotel representative if they had received any of my online orders. They told me they had not received anything. Frustrated, I stepped outside to look for the security guard. I checked around the entrance two or three times but did not see anyone.

When I attempted to re-enter the hotel, I still found no sign of a security guard. This left me confused about who had taken my order from the bar, as it seemed like nobody was properly informed about the situation. I also inquired if there was an external security person on duty, but received no response. Additionally, I noticed that there were many homeless people outside who stayed there the entire night, and I have video evidence of this.

In conclusion, it’s best not to order online while staying at this hotel, as you are likely to lose your package.

Since my apartment was cold on one of the coldest nights, I made a reservation at this hotel, hoping to get some heat. When I got to the room, it was FREEZING! It sounded like the window was open & the heat was off. The front desk worker called to ask me how room was and I told her. She said if it didn’t get warmer, she would check it. I turned heat & fan up as high as it would go and waited almost 45 minutes. You couldn’t feel much heat unless you were right by the heater. I went to front desk & explained situation to worker. She said that it just takes a while. I told her that it should have heated up by now and that I wasn’t going to keep waiting for it. She didn’t offer any assistance or to move me to another room so I left and went next door where my room was much warmer from the time I walked in.

When you’re on a bereavement trip, you want at least the room to go smoothly. This was absolutely our worst day in Chicago ever we come to South Holland often but this time we were not vacationing. Our father passed. I would have hoped that I didn’t have to worry about the toilet getting backed up, but I did. The sheets were never changed while we were there three nights. Every time our family member would visit us they would call us and tell us that we had to pay more because there were more than five or six people in the room even though those people were just visiting. Did they pick up not once not one time did they give us new towels, not once not one time, did they service our room and anything we asked for we had to ask twice my husband is handicap so he couldn’t eat in the dining room and they refused to allow us to bring him any food at breakfast time to our room so he was allowed to eat during his day we DoorDash for him I have never been so disappointed with a stay at any hotel we have ever chosen, and when this was called the Clarion, it was a very nice hotel. The new owners and people have taken over is just a catastrophe here the kids were using the room to exercise and work out some stress my kids are grown mind you they told them that they had 15 minutes left at 9:45 but the previous night when someone else was working, they allowed them to stay until 11. It was just hard stay and I will never come back to this hotel again and if I could’ve gotten my money back, I would’ve we asked for a late check out till noon instead of 11 because our plane leaves today at 7:55 P.m. , and she told us no impossible we would have to pay for an additional day I said never again

Dishonest employees! Stayed for a few days for work and temps were in the negative. I left an FR Carhart jacket by accident in the closet and called a few hours after checking out to be told ā€œnothing was left in the roomā€. Front desk claimed to have checked the room and with housekeeping and still nothing. Hallway also smelled like a dispensary and loud guests down our floor. Employees were also checking rooms at 4am slamming doors behind them.

Worst experience of my life. I’ll start with the reservations department, the gentleman was so sarcastic and unprofessional. He needs customer service training check in was even worse. The key would not work. We had to come back to the desk three times and bring the front desk clerk with us to get the door open the hotel was under construction, which was OK. The rooms were upgraded and looked very nice.. unfortunately, I left a item behind and called the hotel for a week to ask could they mail my item and offer to pay for postage I was told absolutely not! I asked to speak to the hotel manager and was told for a whole week that he was not in. Needless to say, I had to drive two hours to pick up my item if it wasn’t so expensive, I would have left it there. I have worked in the hotel industry for 20+ years and never experienced horrible customer service like I experienced at this property. Stay here at your own risk, but I refuse to patronize a company that could not mail a simple pair of pants back to a guest that spent money at their property. Btw I went back to this property and was told I could not stay here anymore but no reason was given. Oh well, I’m sure it’s because I told the truth and they couldn’t handle it. Please make this hotel your last resort or find a friends house to stay at. The whole staff is racist especially the lady at the front desk.

Was told when booking I could arrive at 3am due to overnight flight. On my way, the front desk argued over the phone, saying it's not okay. I get there and stand in line for 35 minutes waiting for a customer on speed and his prostitute lady to pay in cash and then proceed to buy as much as they could from the pantry. By now it's 330am. Next morning, went down to get my 8 year old breakfast. But no. It's closed. We had to beg for a muffin or something for my kid. Pool was also closed. That was the reason we booked this place. So she could swim. To top it off they dont offer contioner. Just shampoo, body wash, and lotion. When i asked the room cleaning staff for conditioner she didnt understand english and kept saying the lotion was for the hair. The shampoo and lotion bottles were already opened and used in our room as well. What a way to save on product!
This place is so sad. They've put all their money into remodeling that everything else is forgotten. Thanks for getting my kid something after closing the breakfast area, but aside from that, it wasn't a good experience.

Terrible front desk worker. Charged 50% of my overnight price to check in at noon. The room was available. I can see if they don't have rooms and it's before checkout time, but I've never had a hotel charge me to check in at noon. The "early check-in," was half of my overnight price. There was construction noise throughout the day including in the morning. The only good quality was that the room was relatively clean. I would never stay here again.
