It's a decent hotel for the price. The rooms were clean and breakfast is included, which is always nice. The pool is very small, and there is no hot tub. The bathrooms in the room are also small with very small bathtubs. So if your planning a weekend getaway on the cheap cheap this could work, but if you want a bigger pool and a more resort like feel you may want to try one of the other hotels in the area.

The General Manager Lorraine and the front desk clerk Quanetta were very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate us. They were very professional and made us feel welcomed. We definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. If we are ever back in this area this is definitely where we will stay.

PROS:
GREAT customer service from 2 women at front desk. Very sweet and positive.
Room was spacious and nice. Very comfortable.
Easy access in and out. (Sam’s club & Walmart within walking distance)
Easy check-in/out.

CONS:
I’ve seen previous reviews about the pooling of the water on the tub. That is a serious issues and makes it very unpleasant to be able to shower. Literally having to stand on the edges on the tub.
Even with the shower running the water doesn’t flow to the drain it just sits in the dip.
That’s very unsanitary and could cause a lot of problems

I worked out on the floor the following morning and noticed a mildew- like stinch.

It was a huge issue but it did sort of deter me from sleeping. The fridge makes a gargling noise intermittently at night.

It's okay for an overnight. $25 a night for a small non shedding dog is a little much especially when the website doesn't list fees. The breakfast is a full breakfast but no fresh fruit and the bakery is packaged. The rooms were clean. There is no sound reduction where the door is concerned. So if you are looking for quiet, pick an end room.

Nice, clean room. The staff was friendly and professional. Stayed the night here because it is close to the Rockford Airport and we had to catch an early flight. Served its purpose. Plenty of parking on the property. Good restaurants very close to the hotel too.

Employees were not friendly, the place stunk like pot, and ants took over our room. And if you take your dog outside make sure the both of you have your hep-C shot because it is surrounded by a raw sewage dump river loaded with grocery carts and trash.

To LOUD.
Seems to be the party hotel nowadays.It used to be real nice place to stay. I have not been here in a year and now I came back to stay and it has changed so much.
I've called and complained three times about people In the room above me running and jumping on the floor, nothing is done about it.
It seems like a loud nonstop Party going on in the first four hallway. They used to walk the floors and make sure that people weren't being loud.But now it's like nothing is being done to stop anyone. I will not be returning to this hotel again.

We are local, I just brought the kids for a stay-cation to go swimming.
Our room was very clean and updated.

All staff we interacted with were very kind and friendly.

They had more options for breakfast than I expected (waffles, sausage, eggs, cereal, toast, juice, coffee, and more).

My only complaint was the pool and pool room both being on the cold side, but it didn't stop us.
