I read reviews before posting mine and obviously we just got a horrible room. No carpet which I love, but when I looked at the bottom of my socks an hour after checking in I was horrified. Both mine and my husband's were black - no use washing them because that won't come out. I slept in my sneakers that night. When we arrived we asked to see a room and the one shown was ok. I didn't expect perfection at a LaQuinta Hotel, but cleanliness is expected. On the 2nd floor a strong smell of cheap pinesol overtook us. The smell not so strong in room, but still there. The room had scuffed up furniture, a chair with knife slashes on seat and the bathtub had such a dark ring that we thought it was a shadow at first. I laid a towel down to stand on while showering. Toilet was so low that you needed bars to pull up on. Dusty cubicles held the towels and the blind in the room was plastic and awning looking. The floor I spoke of at beginning of review. When I went down to tell the clerk with socks in a bag, he just looked at me. No apologies. The pillows need trashed. No buoyancy at all. Linens seemed clean. No bugs or mice which is a big plus. Breakfast served eggs that had not been heated, just unthawed. I know you are wondering why we stayed with all this, but we were exhausted and didn't really see everything till later. I hoped for at least an apology from staff, got none. Didn't ask for refund or discount even though it should have been offered with the promise to speak to housekeeping, but again nothing. Just a blank stare. All other guests seemed to be ok so either we just got a bad room or our expectations are too high. I do not think that is the case. See what you think?

Quiet location and friendly staff. My favorite is my room. It’s like an apartment. Tv is huge. Nice big fridge and clean microwave. Also very clean. Overall very impressed. Would stay here again! BTW- there is no carpet which to me is so much better as far as cleanliness.

Shoutout to the staff for their support, transparency, and willingness to accommodate in the midst of unforeseen circumstances! Hayden at the front desk was communicative and willing to check with a manager about accommodating a group of us after long travels and an oncoming snow storm. After long hours, friendly hospitality and swift action made this stay welcoming at the start.

Some wear on the furniture was noticed and sound was heard from thin floors/walls, but the cleaning staff took care of making our space ready for a comfortable stay. Could unfortunately hear footsteps thumping throughout the night with the cleanly but loud hard floors, and without a sound/light barrier at the foot of my door, sound just echoed.

Great area with several fast food, breakfast, and road trip options. The staff sets it apart from La Quinta’s competitors around this convenient spot!

This place is great. We were traveling with our two cocker spaniels and needed somewhere to stay for the night and this place was great |Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly|Bed was super comfortable. Dog potty area was also nice. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed for work. I stayed four nights with a crew of 5. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Check out was a breeze. Breakfast, wifi and smart tv are a nice feature. My only complaint, and it turned out to be important... THERE'S LITTLE TO NO CARPET. There's allot of tile and concrete. Sure it will make the place appear more clean and shiny but you will hear EVERYTHING!! ESPECIALLY THE LARGE DOORS! they close so loud, I barely slept. In a dead sleep It sounds like a bomb went off . It's so loud, and every voice carries . Sound just bounces around. The luggage carrier sound like trains wheels going across tracks. but why complain to the staff when people need doors and have to get to their rooms. A few throw rugs and soft close doors or hinges and I'd give it 5 stars

Great hotel, with the exception of there being someone else's hair on our bathroom floor when we checked in.
Halls are a but loud due to everything being tile and high ceilings. The common areas were all clean. Breakfast smelled great, coffee was good. Good location for gas stations, fast food and Walmart.

Excellent half way stop from Illinois to Orlando. Staff was very helpful and good to work with. Breakfast is adequate and just what you need to start the day. Room was clean and spacious. Parking is convenient and well lighted. There are other eating places close by.

The rooms are not what the say they are. Smell really bad no hot water only warm and can keep going. Save your money on this one not worth the cost.
