Good location, well lit and clean outside. The lobby is nice. I got stuck in the elevator. The room was large. There was missing paint on one wall. The door was dirty. Breakfast ran out every day before 8, they would refill it if you asked. In room coffee was only decaf and they didn't have regular at the front desk. The beds were comfy but the blanket was a thick sheet, not a blanket at all and it has burn marks on it. The employees were all nice.

This place needs some serious work. Elevator was messed up and we had so much to carry so they moved to a room downstairs. They gave us a handicapped room which was fine but the shower leaked all the way up in the middle of the bathroom floor. I told the front desk 3-4 times and they did not care at all. Handed me more bath mats to try and soak up the water. Curtains were filthy, mouse feces was found in the bed after sleeping in it all night. The “complimentary hot breakfast” was cold. It just wasn’t a good experience.

I have stayed here multiple times over the past year and have NEVER experienced ANYTHING close to what the other reviewers claim. If these folks are spammers from other area motels trying to steal this property's business, SHAME ON THEM! Everything from the excellent front desk staff to the clean, quiet, comfortable rooms and awesome breakfast is top notch! My personal business takes me to Gardendale, just up the road from this property, every month. I ALWAYS book my room here because I know what I am going to get in return for my hard earned money. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed if you stay here.

The elevator was broken. The rooms were terrible. The two rooms they gave us were on the second floor. One the tv didn’t work and the lights kept flickering. The other one smelled like mold and mildew so we couldn’t even walk in it. So they moved us to the third floor. Being reminded the elevator was broken. The stay was just terrible. Imagine walking up to the third floor and your room keys not working. Childddd never again !

From our 1st moment in this hotel we felt unwelcome. No greeting just give me your ID and credit card. The room was untidy and lacked the normal things we have come to expect. Conditioner, coffee pods, hand towels. Breakfast the same thing. No waffle batter. Cold potatoes. Outside there was no place for the dog or any poop bags. Reported these things only to be given a shrug.

Don’t book here!! Nasty bath tubs, refuse extra towels, INDOOR pool basically feels like your outside anyways. No heater for pool or pool area. FREEZING. They are never at the service desk so you have to wait. Shower handle and head leak all over the bathroom floor. No hair dryers (usually standard) . We booked here for the indoor pool and can’t even use it. Only reason we aren’t leaving now is because we have 2 more days that are nonrefundable 🤢😒

Positive: Large room very modern Negative: Hallway was filled with dirty bedding and towels in front of several doors. Chair was old and leather was peeling. walls were beat up. Elevator didn't work several times while I was there. Rowdy group of people staying on the floor i was put on.

The elevators barely ever work as well at the “heated” pool was 58 degrees lucky they left the closet door open so we turned it on our selfs and got it to 75 in the morning. The breakfast area was nasty as well I love staying in this area next time it will be the Hampton inn since this place is broken down
