What an Absolutely beautiful room! Clean and new! This hotel was so much better than we had anticipated!! The bedding was beautiful. The coffee delicious. The best one of our travels home from Florida! We will definitely be back!|Price was great.

Traveling between Colorado and PA. Lobby was clean and bright. Staff was welcoming at check in. They were pet friendly which is why we chose to stay there. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable and water pressure was good. We walked our dogs regularly and the parking lot is very well lit and we walked over to pick up our dinner at the Cracker Barrel right next door. Will definitely stay again.

The staff were kind and so helpful. The place seemed newer, was clean and well maintained and the breakfast was a variety of hot and cold fresh food and plentiful. I loved the comfortable bed and pillows. We would definitely stay here again. We appreciated that it is a top notch La Quinta Inn & Suites which are getting harder to find these days.

Greg helped us get a wonderful room! My partner and I are traveling for work with our fur baby and he was able to get us a king suite right by the entrance for easy access to potty breaks…and I didn’t even ask he did it on his own! We wanted to rest before reaching our destination, we didn’t have a reservation and was grateful there was still room for us and there was no hassle took us about 5 minutes to check in. We loved our experience. Super grateful

Friendliest staff we have encountered while traveling! Sam and Jennie went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! Very positive environment! As soon as you walk in the door you can’t help but smile right along with Sam! Jennie even had a gift bag ready for us when we left! Stayed the night during a road trip. We were greeted very nicely and quickly checked in by Greg. Very nice experience because the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Free breakfast with enough options to make it enjoyable. Walmart next door for anything you might need plus lots and lots of restaurants all in the area. Perfect location. It was also very nice to see the hotel is dog friendly as there were lots of travelers with their dogs. Would def stay again.

Great place to stay especially for the price! We were traveling with our two dogs, and the room was super clean and very spacious. Front desk staff was great and very friendly, and hotel is in a great spot near several food options. Very well-lit parking lot, too and felt very safe. Only complaints are the doors are a little thin so we could hear a lot of slamming doors in the night, and the bed was a little sunken in.

We stayed at the Effington, IL LQ on the Saturday before NYE. The location is back away from the main intersection, with minimal interstate noise. Front desk staff briefly looked up from her mobile phone for check-in. Fortunately, it was quick as I used the convenient online process. Nice, clean and updated room. Basic breakfast. Like many other LQ we have stayed at recently, the juice machine was broken. OJ only. Grassy area was nice for our pet. I booked the room early online. Staff assigned a 1st floor room, accommodating our pet request. However, the room was located directly opposite the breakfast kitchen. Sunday morning, the housekeeping and breakfast prep foot traffic began in the early hours, disturbing our dog and ultimately our sleep. The foot traffic, especially unsupervised, gregarious children and toddlers, escalated until check-out. Perhaps the hotel atmosphere is more calm during week night stays?
