The front desk clerk was so sweet and helpful and awesome. The rooms are very nice. But the beds are so hard. It felt like I was laying on the floor. Whoever cleaned that room didn’t do a good job there was pee around the toilet. hair all over the floor and toilet and in the tub. They didn’t stock the room properly. One of the wash clothes had brown stuff all over it. So i took it to the same lady who checked me in and she helped me she was so nice and polite about it. I needed up cleaning it before my kids got in the tub. If I wasn’t so tired and if the clerk wasn’t nice and helpful I wouldn’t have stayed.

Newly redone and looks great. Was our 2nd stay and would stay there again. However, it was clear that the floors of the room, desk surfaces and headboard hadn't been cleaned well. We wiped the desks and headboards down and wore shoes in the room just in case. LOVED that we had laminate hardwood flooring because it just feels so much cleaner. One thing of note: We booked through Super.com and when we got to the hotel, were told at check in that our reservation had been cancelled 3 days prior (we never cancelled anything and the hotel couldn't tell us who had cancelled the reservation). They were still able to find us a room, but the total went from around $185 for 2 nights to $350 for the same 2 nights. We were exhausted and needed to get to a room, so we agreed to the new price, but we did wonder whether there was some collaboration between Super.com and the hotel to "make" that scenario happen where the reservation is cancelled without the guests's knowledge, then the hotel can offer you a new booking at a higher price. The front desk was gracious and I don't want this to be construed as our blaming them, but the thought did cross our mind that it was somehow intentional. Still, this was our 2nd stay there and we'll stay there again, as long as there's no repeat of the "your booking was cancelled but we can offer you a higher rate" scenario. Good area, breakfast appreciated and it's all redone so feels clean overall. Nice front desk staff as well.

Me and my kids came to Birmingham for my daughter’s graduation. When we arrived the front desk clerk was so nice and helpful. The rooms are nice. The beds are terrible they are hard as a brick and the pillows was not decent either. I didn’t get much sleep because of the hard bed and pillow felt like I was laying on the floor. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned at all. There was pee around the toilet. Hair all over the tub and inside the tub. All over the toilet. I ended up cleaning everything so my kids could take a shower. The house keepers need to be retrained on how to clean. Or someone needs to go behind them.

The room was very clean with fresh linens, towels, and Dove soaps. The bed was ok. My only issue is that a lot of people were standing outside or parked in their vehicles, smoking pot & blaring music (outside door 3) and acting like it was no big deal. I'm not at all against legal Marijuana use, but in Alabama, recreational use is not legal, and I can't stand the smell. Just my opinion, but it's just not very respectful to others, especially when the smell comes inside the hotel and saturates the inside of the elevator. There were about 5 children out in the courtyard screaming and dribbling basketballs around 10pm. This hotel is in a nice area. A lot of the issues, I'm sure, were due to a lot of high school graduations that night.

Terrible experience. The entire hotel smelled like weed. The hotel has not been renovated. The light fixtures showed drywall behind them instead of fresh paint. Our bedroom had pubic hair on the bath linens and in the shower. The body wash was empty in the shower. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, no protein outside of eggs. I would not stay here ever again.

These review are false. This hotel is terrible! As soon as we pulled up there was throw up at the front doors. okay maybe someone got sick , no problem! As soon as you walk through the doors the hallway and doors are disgusting! There are stains on the wall and trash on the floors. Like why are surgical gloves in the middle of the hallways on 1st and 3rd floor along with big balls of blond hair. We could not tell if it was dog hair or human hair. Each room door looks like it’s been kicked in. The only things this place has going for itself is a nice lobby, good water pressure, no carpet in the room. We got in late trying to find another room during a busy weekend was crazy so we went to Walmart to buy towels wash cloths, Clorox wipes, mop, wipes, Lysol spray, cleaning spray, gloves & etc.
and no this was not just one room. We went to tell them front desk person and she told us they don’t check behind the housekeepers. She said let me yall another room. We were thinking maybe this room wasn’t cleaning. We went right to another room to check it and you could tell the sheets were not changed. There was red spots all on the fitted sheet! Don’t stay here. We asked for a refund.

The hotel is nice from the outside and have modern amenities. We just happened to have a bad experience. The staff were nice. Our TV didn't work but it took an hour to get it figured out and I had to ask for another room because they said it's the satellite that's out, not our TV. Then we finally get all our stuff moved and it's a smaller room. The AC sucked. Room was dirty in places. Neighbors were noisy until 1 am. Car alarm going off super early. I know not all these issues are the hotels fault.

The rooms are very clean. The staff is professional and polite. The free breakfast included waffles which was a plus for my son. I have stayed several times for visits to UAB Medical and have had wonderful experiences each time. The location is easy to find, just off the interstate and has a Walmart and several restaurants within a couple of minutes drive. Highly recommend.
