Pretty expensive for a rather dirty place. There was a cockroach in the bathroom. The shower didn't have any water pressure. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on in the hall. The halls smell like cigarettes despite it being a no smoking hotel. Pretty bad and overly strict pet policy for a La Quinta.

Worth the money but not a high end hotel by any means. Looks like there might be some upgrades going on. Example... Hallway looked painted but there is no trim at floor level. Looked unfinished. We had the large room.

The good... Bed was comfortable. The room was very clean. It definitely was large.

The not so good... It looked kind of empty bc lack of the final touches. Could be a gorgeous room. Recliner didn't recline. Love seat looked old.

This is one of the worst hotels ever. It definitely does not live up to the LaQuinta Inn standards. Yes, it was under renovation but the owners clearly waited to many years to get started. The carpet in the hallway and room was dirty, torn and worn out. The shower curtain rod is of the old style so the curtain is all up against you while you shower. The bathtub drain was slow. There was obvious mold on the tile grout. The room had a foul odor. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. LaQuinta should drop this hotel like a bad habit.

This hotel is filthy!!! The shower/tub wasn’t clean, carpets were stained terribly and the first person to greet me in our room was a cockroach on the nightstand. 🤢🤢🤮 The entire hotel smelled like stale weed. 🤦🏼‍♀️

This place was a one and done for me! I will not be staying here again and would rather sleep in my car… I don’t even think they should be open. The hallways have a stench to them, smelled like marijuana everywhere, stains on the carpeting, Dusty rooms. Only stay here if it’s your last option.

I can understand the renovation, what I don't accept is the filthy hallway and smell that permeated into the room. The property SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLOSED until the hallways could of been updated, possibly one wing at a time. I DO NOT accept your excuse and expect a FULL REFUND on at least the second night that we could not stay there because of conditions.
I hold you, Booking.com and Wydham responsible!!You have NO idea that this property is in such bad shape, did not feel safe there, until you arrive. It is then Too late to get a refund.
THIS WAS A HORRIBLE THING TO HAPPEN AND NO ONE WANTS TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE!

BOTTOM LINE....DO NOT STAY THERE!!

Normally hotels near airports are clean and quiet especially when they have a large names attached to them like Wyndham. This was not the case here. Very sketchy individuals just hanging in the parking lot. Whole place smelled like marijuana. There were crumbs in the bed. Carpet was sticky in the room. Shower had drain flies and didn't drain well ended up not even being able to take a shower. People were in the hall way at all times of night. We even got to hear a couple fight at 12/1 am right outside our door. It was also obviously people live at this hotel. The max capacity for the room was 5. Imagine our horror when 2 adults and 3 kids walk in the room and there are just 2 full size mattresses. No pull out couch or anything. Only saving grace was we checked the mattresses and found no bed bugs but that didn't seem to matter as we did not sleep.

Hotel was a great place for the price. Staff is friendly. Dated inside but it doesn't affect the overall stay. Room was clean and quiet. A/C worked well and quick. Minor issue with a toilet running off and all constantly but it was manageable. Doors are secure and staff keeps up with who enters via camera at each entrance so it felt safe. There are no DND signs to put on the door so expect someone to knock every morning. Location is across from MLI airport and quick easy access to the highway. Restaurants and shopping etc close by.
