The lady that checked me in was very nice and personable - but I would caution her against saying room numbers and personal info out loud in the lobby due to security concerns.
On our way to our room we noticed a lot of trash, dirt, and leaves in the hallway and elevator (including cigarette butts). They were all still there the next morning at check out (11am).
In our room there was stuff on the carpet - I couldn't tell if they were pebbles or hardened crumbs.
The security latch on our door was broken. I was going to report this at checkout, but there was no one at the desk.
The bathroom did not have a hair dryer or conditioner. The shampoo bottle that was there was half empty and dirty - there was either dirt, makeup, or mold on it. This leads me to believe it was probably not replaced between stays.
The bed was comfortable enough, but the pillows were awful. There were some small stains on the sheets, but seemed clean overall.
My bed was very loud and would "pop" every time I moved (it kind of sounded like when a garbage truck dumps a can or someone hitting a metal sheet).

Called the same day I checked in to verify they had a pool that was working and was told yes. They lied and did nothing about it. Asking for a upgrade for a hot tub was a no. Do not stay here. The place is also very dirty and smells! I do not recommend.... Found out the internet was down and the shower didn't work! Also got charged 3x on my credit card and debit card. They owners and managers are aware of everything. I will have a update with more info soon people. Do not stay you will be ripped off..

The reviews not lying the reason why this motel is horrible because the owners cheap pay below the minimum wage the lady manager and her kids work there live there brought the place down Unprofessional on a personal level one time front desk worker the daughter had her baby at work girl with no teeth is horrible they all wear hoodies The rooms are getting clean by the owners parents and family oh you saving money taking ours Donald Trump hurry up and clean House Ice I’m sick of these motels taking our money we pay for a good clean night (policy )It’s time For Iowa people stand up this hotel should be in Chicago Illinois because that’s exactly the feeling that you get ghetto and trash all are rude . I blame the owners We don’t need the manager replying. Rude on reviews You are a worker you don’t own anything Owners stop hiding and stop letting this manger ruin your business evidently you don’t care it’s been numerous complaints. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with sausage and eggs,biscuits and gravy. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. We decided that every time we come here we will be staying here.It is very affordable and relaxing.

This hotel was disgusting. The room was so gross I did not feel comfortable even sleeping in the bed. Stains/sticky build up on EVERYTHING including stains on the blankets + mattress (a real life nightmare) also a lovely build up of pet hair in the corners and side carpeting/base of the room. These rooms are clearly not properly cleaned and even the hallways are in desperate need of a vacuum. I cannot believe this place is open to the public.

Tyrisha is great at her job. I walked in the door she greeted me before I reached the front desk. She can get you in a room real quick. I enjoyed the breakfast she made it was very satisfying. The room I was in was nicely cleaned no complaints. I will most definitely be back soon. If I give more then 5 stars I would give a thousand.

This looks like a Nice hotel, the staff seem nice and the rates are reasonable. Also, they accept cats. However, if You have a chime or PayPal debit card and nothing else to pay with your screwed. Was gonna stay 6 nights, but ended up going to country inn and suites instead since they accept PayPal and cats.
