This was my first time at La Noria, at the recommendation of a Palm Springs Life Magazine article online. The restaurant did not disappoint! It’s a very intimate indoor dining room with more seating available on their patio. The small indoor space is like a loving hug from your tia - inviting and comforting. The food is incredible. I had two tacos al pastor with a side of beans and rice; and it hit the spot. The meat was savory and well-seasoned. The portions were perfect. This was one of the only lunches at a Mexican restaurant where I didn’t feel like I was uncomfortably rolling out the door after the meal. I’ll definitely be back.

Came across this place by accident while traveling to California. The directions originally took us to the Casino which we quickly realized was wrong. Thankfully, we found the place. Place is small and cozy. Shortly after sitting down, we were greeted by the owner (Gabriella). She asked us what we ordered and then proceeded to bring us two different items that she insisted we tried (at no charge)! The food was incredible!! All of it was authentic, homemade and just amazing!! Homemade chips, tortillas, beans.. it was probably the best Mexican food we have ever had! Too bad they aren't in Scottsdale, AZ!
We'll be stopping again on our way back through. Can't speak highly enough !!

Positives: Cute decor.

Food: Awful. Everything overpowered by heavy corn-Fritos-tasting chips, tostadas. Hands-down worst Huevos Rancheros I’ve had in 30+ years of living in the West / SW. Some overcooked eggs covered in what tasted like Fideo Soup, & a couple of tostadas. Inedible.

Service: Awful. Not greeted, sat around for long periods, never asked how things were, & left to ask how to pay. Lady was basically openly hostile to us.

We were so excited to try a place like La Noria but left looking for another breakfast option & totally shock-disappointed.

Good food and authentic flavors. Service is slow as they fill up quick and get overwhelmed. Salsa, guacamole, and soups are very tasty. Beef was tender but should cook a little more to make it spoon tender.

The staff was very accommodating and attentive. We were traveling with elderly and the waitress and waiter were very sweet. The food was delicious and large proportions. We had the flautas and huarache Azteca. The agua fresca was really good too.

5 stars to this nice, cozy place, they have always the best Mexican food, their recipes are authentic mexicans with that taste you were expecting.
