La Malinche Coffee & Tea House is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a place where connections are built and love stories unfold. I recently visited with a couple for a photo session, and I can absolutely see why this place holds significance in their relationship.

The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, with stunning murals, cozy seating, and a warm, artistic ambiance that makes you want to stay for hours. The cultural elements woven into the decor add so much personality to the space. It feels like a love letter to tradition, art, and good company.

And let’s talk about the coffee—it hits! ☕🔥 Smooth, rich, and perfectly brewed, every sip was an experience in itself. Whether you’re here for a quick caffeine fix or to soak in the energy of the space, this spot delivers.

If you’re looking for a place to create memories, enjoy great coffee, and experience a unique atmosphere, La Malinche is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

Coffee shop was super cute. Food was great, plenty of outlets for any working from home/study date. Loved the communal tables but it was just a little cold for me. I get its winter but there was a draft the entire time I was there even with the door closed. Stayed in my jacket most of the time.

The service and atmosphere were really good. However, my friend ordered a latte that was basically just warm milk. My abuelita coffee was supposed to be a half-calf, but definitely was not. We ordered the turkey panini, which was fair for the price. We asked for no mayo, but it came with mayo. None of these were a big enough deal to return them. However, we will probably not return since there are so many great coffee shops to choose from.

Such an incredibly wonderful place with the friendliest staff. This is the real deal - so unique and everything was fantastic. The abuelita was so tasty and not to sweet and the cafe de olla was authentic and spot on! Such thoughtful menu, decor and cups added to the fantastic atmosphere. The artisanal fruit teas all looked good though I tried the passion fruit - the smell is beyond divine with floating dehydrated fruit that plumps back up in hot water then after rehydrating and making the tea, you eat the dried fruit. So different and wonderful. This is worth a visit - so many people in there with their computers collaborating and working together. It was pretty quiet and the murals on the walls were beautiful.

Amazing food + coffee + vibe! The outside looks so unassuming. I'm so glad I took a chance and walked in as I was exploring the neighborhood. The breakfast sandwich exceeded my expectations - I highly recommend it even though it doesn't sound that impressive on the menu. Coffee options are creative and tasty 😋. The staff was friendly and service was prompt. The Mexican music and the fantastic art on the walls really made me want to linger but alas, I had other places to be.

My partner and I were visiting Chicago so we stopped after eating breakfast, what a shame ! I would have wished to try all the dishes. They looked delish! However we had the best cafe de olla, the staff was very kind ❤️ and they were playing nice music. We didn’t want to leave, I would wish I live close, so if you’re around don’t hesitate to stop by 🥰

La Malinche Coffee & Tea House is my new go-to for a low-key, cozy vibe. The coffee here is top-notch – I had an iced latte and it hit the spot perfectly. Also, their pastries are legit; the conchas are fresh and so fluffy, you won't regret it. It's a chill spot to relax or get some work done. I spent about $10 on my coffee and pastry, which is a steal for the quality. Staff is super friendly, and the place has a nice, laid-back feel. Definitely coming back for more coffee and that sweet concha next time!
