The bed was comfortable. The inside of the hotel looks spooky. All the staffs were nice except the Chinese guy. Very close to the metro train. Room service needed reminding otherwise skipped. You could leave your baggages after checkout.

We got a free upgrade to a suite which was very nice! The room was huge. We loved the breakfast! It was a nice mixture of hot and cold items. The hotel is really nice. The staff are friendly. The pool and hot tub were quite lovely as well. We just stayed one night before heading out on a cruise in long beach and we would highly recommend staying here! If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here.

On a trip for my kiddos birthday. Did two nights at great Wolf Lodge, then a day at universal. My budget was tapped as I was standing in a line at universal looking for a cheap place to stay. Almost every cheap hotel had endless bad reviews, except this place. Booked it, not realizing it was part of a casino, and it was in Compton!

I got here and was very surprised! This place is a perfectl cheap place to stay! The hotel is totally separate from the casino. The parking lot has security people, and a gated garage for guests to park in. The front desk guy I think his make was Fred was super nice.. The room is a bit dated but everything works perfectly.

Totally recommend if you are just looked for a cheap, clean, quiet place to rest up for the night!

I didn't know what to expect because the price was very reasonable. In January 2025 I paid less than $400 for a room for 2 people with breakfast for 4 nights. The breakfasts were very good for US standards, with a large selection. Free wifi throughout the hotel. 24/7 fitness center, pool (I didn't try it), but most importantly, free parking in the garage. The rooms were large and clean. I recommend it.

Rooms are not the newest but clean and this is all matters. We’ve been upgraded to a suite, it was at the top floor and quite large. Windows are not blocking all the noise, so that’s a challenge and the air conditioner works really loud.
Breakfast was beyond good, didn’t understand the negative comments here at all. There are bakery, waffle, fruits, oatmeal, cornflakes, muffin and sushi(?). Not sure who eats sushi in the morning though. Coffee is below average though. You can also take away.
The location is also good. There is plenty of safe parking. The metro line is just around the corner. It is so close but you need a long walk to get to the entrance. So it is further away than it seems. Avoid using metro if you don’t feel comfortable with the homeless. There are hundreds of them everywhere. So the metro is not clean and is not safe at all. But super convenient.

Spent a night here and didn’t have a problem with the room. It was clean, spacious and well equipped. The bed was comfy and had no complaints.

We had breakfast too, there was a fair bit of choice so you won’t go hungry as there is something for everyone.

The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the car parks, because this is a casino too the spaces are full with the punters so after driving round a couple times we ended up parking underneath. Other than that no problems at all.

Hotel is starting to show its age, however, absolutely nothing to complain about!Great Service. Considerate employees. Ample security.Only complaint would be the casino is Chinese, so I had no idea how to play any of their games. Probably a good thing! Saved me money!Also, we had a two room suite, however, the rooms only had one television in one of the bedrooms. I would recommend having a tv in each room.

We stayed only for 1 night but l have to say that we are very pleased and enjoyed it. The location of the hotel is very good ( close by there is a mall) and they have plenty of parking space for free. The rooms are very spacious and clean. It is an old hotel but very well kept so you don't feel it. Absolutely satisfied with everything except the breakfast. It is not what we expected...Plastic cutlery and plates..not a big variety to choose from food...very poor quality. Even the coffee wasn't good. I believe they should really do something about that. It is a nice hotel with good prices. I suggest it to those who don't want to pay much but still have a good quality.
