The waiting list was 45 minutes on a Sunday morning, I had the red and green chilaquiles, they were okay but not impressed, my sons breakfast burrito took a while for him to get, we were almost done eating when his plate was brought. All I have to say is that I tried once and that was enough for me..

Amazing breakfast spot!! Will definitely be coming back. The seating area was huge. We went on a Thursday morning and it was actually quite busy. We got seated right away - very family friendly as we had a stroller with us and two other tables also had strollers. I got the Chef’s Special La Catedral which was amazing. If you like sweet drinks, be sure to get the Cafe Olla as the coffee option that comes with the breakfast. My husband got the chilaquiles rojo which was amazing and had a decent kick to it. We will definitely be coming back. There is also some parking designated for patrons in the parking lot in the back.

I visited yesterday with my sister and mom, all i have to say is WOW. My mom usually drinks her coffee with extra cream, el cafe de olla is AMAZING!! She had it just like that, I enjoyed a favorable Horchata with cafe - everything was too good! Daniel was our waiter and let me tell you HE SERVEDDDDD. Had the best experience because of him. His recommendations were on point, chilaquiles verdes y de birria were delicious! 10000/10 worth the hype, ojalá que me sirve Daniel cuando regrese.

Visited La Catedral in Little Village for the first time in August but wasn't feeling well enough to really eat much and fully enjoy my food. Since we decided to take another trip to Chicago we needed to visit La Catedral again but this time at their newer location.
Much like last time, food was excellent! Service was great as well. Love the atmosphere and the culture that is displayed throughout the restaurant through the decor.

I came to breakfast with my friend, and we had the absolute pleasure of having Danny as our waiter he was AMAZING! From the moment we sat down, he was super attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. He had great energy and gave the best recommendations. Our food came out perfectly, and Danny checked in just to make sure we had everything we needed. You can tell he genuinely cares about providing great service. We’ll definitely be coming back and hoping to have him again!

I've been eager to try La Catedral for quite a while now, but each time we've visited the Little Village location, the wait times were long and our stomachs couldn't handle it. When I discovered they opened a new location, I was thrilled. I decided to take my grandmother with me, especially since she adores café de olla, and I couldn't wait to finally dig into their chilaquiles, my all-time favorite breakfast dish. Our waiter recommended the chile poblano chilaquiles, and let me tell you, they were outstanding! They were hands down the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in this neighborhood. The “Mexican” coffee, cafe de la olla is soooo good. All the food is very flavorful. Good job 👏
It would definitely boost your business if you carried vegan ingredients/vegan options. Vegan cheese, soy chorizo, and oat milk would increase your sales.
My wife and son are vegan and can’t eat a meal here.
