I was going to rate 4 stars, due to a few issues such as no outdoor lighting in the areas where we walked up the hill to our room, and no individual umbrellas/shade at the pool, but the fact that the beds were exceptionally comfortable and ALL the staff provided outstanding, far above average and phenomenal customer service, I upped the rating to 5 stars. ||We were only there for four days, yet by the first evening, we already knew lots of staff by their first names, and were excited each day to see everyone. Honestly, I cannot say enough about the staff at the resort. Friendly, helpful, accommodating...just the best of the best, from the front desk staff to security to the Marina store to the pool staff to the restaurant/breakfast/bar staff. ||They have a ways to go with regards to the resort itself, but they are constantly working at it and making improvements all the time. There was a surveyor at the mini-golf area, which hopefully means that in time, that will be up and running again. |I love that they kept the lobby area the same, as well as all the walls of framed autographed posters of the bands that played there. Like a trip down memory lane!||Rome wasn't built in a day - it's a big undertaking getting the resort built back up - all these things take time, money and effort. To think of where this resort was five years ago compared to where it is now, it's a huge accomplishment. I personally have five plus decades of memories of this place and we are so grateful and lucky that Konocti is back!!! We will definitely be back in summer 2025.

Get 0 rating. They gave us the Worst service ever for our Anniversary on 8/24/24. Their restaurant Food made us sick. The room, tub, LR throw rug was filthy with cookie crumbs not vacuumed, LR table was dirty, bed sheets all were dirty. No internet service. No housekeeping available. No electricity in the kitchen. No curtains in living room . No staff available except front desk staff and security staff Mike. So we could not eat there had to go elsewhere to eat nor use tub or shower. Others tenants above us kept us up till 3:00 am moving furniture etc. stomping etc. we couldn't sleep. Too many complaints to list. No manager on site. I had called the front desk several times with so many complaints with the room and no one available to help they had written 4 separate sticky note pads of our complaints. I was given Allie manager number spoke with her briefly called her back with a list of my complaints and concerns and she never returned my several phone calls or emails and we were never refunded $31.09 spent at Konocti Marina they said they would refund. Mind you this was the 2nd room they gave us. We left out next morning right away to go home had it not been dark and a long drive we would of left out the 1 st day. Nicole told me when I was discussing a refund with her that we weren't welcome to come back after we put in our complaints of the Awful and No Service we were given. Talk about wrongful doing especially after we were the ones who suffered a very Bad experience. We will never go back and have shared our experience with our friends who say they too, won't be going there no more as well. This is the first bad review I have ever had to report. I wish the manager would of taken care of us with better customer service.

Was SO hoping this would be good. In town for business and decided to trust the reviews and stay.
DAY Front desk staff was amazing, if not for her we would have left immediately.
From there, everything went downhill
Went for dinner at the restaurant, ordered a bottle of wine and prepared to have a nice evening,
Only Waitress on a Saturday night was not the A team
Not friendly, cordial, and never asked required questions about our entrees, like how would we would like the steak cooked.
I was so looking forward to this new beginning but I ended up ordering door dash instead of spending my money here

The website made the renovations look wonderful, so we decided to give it a try. It is still a very run down hotel with limited service (nothing was open, yet we were still charged a resort fee). And it was super weird being there with literally 2 other guests (over 100 room resort). My fielnd booked a lower tier riom and they were going to out him in a separate building all alone. It didn't feel safe so we asked them to move him to the same building and they charged him an extra $70 to do so. The room was not very clean and had an odd odor. The little deck to enjoy the lake was full of spider webs. There was a big dirt hand print on the bathroom door - you couldn't miss it, so why not clean it? Dirt in the floor and hairs in the bathroom sink. To top it off, the price was way too much for the stay. All in all, very disappointing.

Did a one night stay here and we were able to enjoy the amazing large pool on the day that we checked in along with our checkout day. We had all intentions to use the onsite dock to kayak and paddle board but their pool looked way too inviting. The pool has views of some amazing mountains and clear lake. During the weekend that we were there, a local DJ was playing tunes and that was way cool. They also were offering just pool day access fees (without staying over) - met a number of local folks and I think this is a cool day escape for those looking to spend time in a pool and enjoy food and drink from a restaurant.
There was even a small continental breakfast that we had access to and I opted for the healthier option: hard boiled eggs and fruit cups (staying away from the more sugary items such as cereal, donuts, waffles and muffins).
All the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our room was located near the dock and fairly basic. Simple touches in the lower cost rooms that we booked.
Some areas are still not open at the time of this review. Overall, a nice quick economical getaway!
**I dropped stars on rooms and service until I found a charge on my account after we had checked out for $20. Didnβt know what this was and had to make a call. Found out from front desk that I was charged $20 for dirty towels. There was no way that was my group that did this. It would have been nice to have received an email and photos about this issue when it was reported from housekeeping. Had a lot of back and forth calls and emails to try to resolve but ended up resolving via my CC company. Check your CC statements!*

Worst experience my husband and I have ever had and it was our Anniversary. We moved from one room that had a musty odor & was later moved to another room that ended up worst. We ate at their restaurant & food made my husband sick. My food was cold.So we had to find a restaurant off the premises to eat. The living room had food droppings on the throw rug, Floors wasn't vacuumed. Living room table was dirty, bed linen was dirty, tub was filthy dirty so unable to shower or bathe, Electrical problem Kitchen lights didn't work. No living room curtains. No internet access so no TV service. Neighbor above noisy till 3:00 am moving furniture and stomping throughout the night. We had called front desk several times to report complaints. Sadly to say they had no staff to assist us, no housekeeping available and they didn't even offer to help with correcting the problems. The Mike security person tried to help us with internet but it worked for 30 min & was back off permanently again. One front desk staff Nick tried to help assist but stated they not authorized and manager was in can check back 4 days later. They had wrote 3 sticky pad notes of my complaints but never refunded $31.09 Konocti Harbor Marina money back to us. Manager Allie was super hard to get in contact when I reached her one time we spoke briefly because she had another call come in & had to go & she told me I can call her anytime. She had mentioned she wasn't given the sticky notes of complaints. I did call her several times as well as emailed her & she never returned my calls or responded to my emails. To make matters worse Nicole a staff there who I spoke to asking for our $31.09 refund because we were told by manager Allie we would get all our money we spent there returned. Well we didn't. After the worst experience Ever Nicole tells me on the phone we are not allowed to come back there. Now how is it you give horrible service and treat customers terribly and then turn it on us like we did something wrong. Worst customer service ever. The way we were treated do you think we want to come back. Also we shared our experience with friends they won't ever go there again either.

We arrived and this place was empty and quiet. The website advertised they have so much to do which is a scam. The pool tables were closed, the spa is not open. Tennis courts are closed, the restaurant is only open on the weekends. You canβt park your boat on the water and leave it for your stay. The rooms are decent compared to the old rooms and the Wi-Fi does not work. They took out the barbecue grills outside of your room which is inconvenient. They only have one pool opened and be aware of the new flooring around the pool. They have screws sticking out which I told the pool boy and he said he had to go get a screwdriver, but did not return .
The restaurant food is terrible and way too expensive. The restaurant staff is friendly.
This is more of a weekend place if you want peace and quiet. The website is a scam of what this place has to offer. The concerts are held inside now and itβs small bands performing.
The new owners have put a lot of money into this place since being reopened.

The location and the pool deck are outstanding. That is why I give it 3 stars. Everything else, not great. First off, they market that they have "three lakeside dining venues." They have one from what I could see, the poolside one 'Marina Bar & Grill' isn't open yet, and breakfast lunch and dinner are all the same restaurant... not sure where they pulled "three" from?
My #1 complaint is the breakfast scam. The free 'breakfast' is the worst I have ever seen and when you ask to buy breakfast in the restaurant they are only offering a $30/pp buffet. It is the biggest waste of food I have ever seen! My daughter was hungry so I decided to just pay for her and I to have the buffet and we were the only 2 people the entire time, We watched hungry guests come in to ask for breakfast, heard the price and left. There was so much food being offered but with prices like that it likely was all tossed at the end of the day. Not even just that, but the food was terrible! I had Eggs Benedict and the eggs weren't cooked... like the whites of the eggs were runny and clear and there wasn't anyone at the omelette bar, one of the hostesses asked the bus boy if he knew how to make an omelette and he said he would try, luckily a chef came out before he got too far along. Why not either adjust the amount of food options so you can lower the price and feed your guests or just offer a breakfast menu so you don't waste so much.
The rooms were not great, ours had a deck that access to was being blocked by a couch, when we moved it to open the door, the wood was completely rotten and didn't look like it could hold a human. The big windows over the lake would be nice but they were really dirty on the outside covered in cobwebs and dirt.
Indoor Pool that they market as available, not open yet. The Spa that they proudly add to the name of their establishment.. Not open yet, you can supposedly have a massage in your room but there isn't an actual spa. I rarely write reviews but I really felt like they were being greedy with a lot of false advertisement and trying to nickle and dime their guests.. not off to a good start..
