5 stars for the "real Alaska flavor". Loved Kate! I could have listened to her stories all day. Fancy pampered breakfast. Only difficult sharing one bathroom with 4 other strangers.

First off, Kate is a delightful, kind, welcoming person who is the heartbeat of this B&B. The rooms are comfortable and decorated in Kate’s fun loving, whimsical style. The breakfast is not the typical continental breakfast typical at many B&B’s around Alaska . . . it is lovingly prepared and delicious (omelet, fresh fruit, delicious coffee, and orange juice the morning of our stay). Copper Center may not seem like a likely place for this special lodging, but Kate is on a mission to bring love, hope, and community to this town. I will look for opportunities to stay with Kate again, and would happily go out of our way to do so. Kate will gladly share with you her experience growing up in Alaska (and Seattle), her fascinating family heritage, her own amazing journey back to Copper Center, and her hopes and dreams for her community. Thanks Kate . . . what a blessing to share the morning with you. Thank you for your hospitality!

This was the favorite BNB we stayed at during our vacation. Kate is so friendly and personable. Her home is very comfortable and cute (I felt like we were staying in Alice in Wonderland). Her breakfast is amazing. The bed was comfortable. It was perfect!

Our stay at Klutina Kate's was an absolute highlight of our 10 days traveling through Alaska. Kate is an incredibly kind and welcoming host with lots of stories about the history of Copper Center and Alaska. Her B&B is quintessential Alaska and her breakfast and coffee were fantastic. Many thanks for making our stay so special.

We did not stay with Kate but wished that we had! My family (Grandparents, Parents and 1yr old) were hoping to get some local food and then coffee. However unknown to us, the town was pretty much closed up on Sundays.

Now, when we walked from the princess bus drop up the street to Bee Happy Coffee, we discovered it hadn't opened yet. Instead of turning us away Kate, and her husband welcomed my family in and brewed a fresh pot of coffee, and even had orange juice for my Daughter. We ended up spending an 1.5 nearly two hours with Kate. Learning about her family's long history in the town.

I will forever remember Kate's extreme kindness and generosity that she showed my family and I that day, making our experience worth while.

Looking forward to visiting again and this time staying with Kate!

Kate's B&B in Copper Center is an Alaskan gem. When our RV repairs were delayed we booked Kate's place so we could still do our annual Klutina River fishing trip. It was a perfect stay. We stayed in the cute little Bumble Bee camper & had a very comfortable sleep. We had easy access to a very clean outdoor porta potty & shower house. Then we had the most amazing gourmet breakfast every morning. But truly the best part of our stay was the people at Kate's. Kate & her staff are what make Alaska a special place. We are already making plans and looking forward to next year. Mike and Terry

Perfect place. Our room was clean and the place is relaxing. Kate was wonderful. Breakfast was delightful. She was able to meet my dietary restrictions. Freshly made bread and jam hit the spot. The omelet contained Alaska sourced mushrooms. It was also garnished with peppers and served with fresh fruit on the side. She let my friend and I cook our fish in the kitchen.
