I had such a great time at the fair. There were plenty of things to do. I browsed the tables, tried fresh food cooked in front of me. I watched a show with a horse that could do tricks. The livestock barns were fun to walk through. The pig races were great. I was lucky to go on a day with excellent weather.

Great venue with combination of gravel and paved walking areas inside the gates. Parking lot is all gravel, but firmly packed and wheelchair accessible. Bathrooms available in main building. ATM available as well. Parking is generally well organized, but this time I visited, kind of a free for all. Handicap parking was not marked this time. Other times vehicles with placards were directed to specific handicapped parking. Great place for events. Good shelter in permanent buildings in the event of rain.

I always have a blast when visiting the Kane County Fairgrounds. All of the staff are very nice and super helpful, typically within the teenager range, but still very helpful. The services provided, whether it be the food, rides, or shows, are spectacular all around.

If you ever have a chance to go to the Kane County Fair and live within the greater Elgin/Kane area, I would highly recommend it.

Parking is massively available, but if you come earlier in the day, you can cash in on some benefits (specialty food/unlimited-paid rides).

The fair was interesting. I recommend this place for families, anyone interested in agriculture, and those who enjoy carnival rides. The entry was $5 but you could pay $20 for an all inclusive ride wrist band. They had every carnival ride I could think of, and they seemed safe. There was animal showcasing in which you could see sheep, pigs, poultry, and cows. The standard carnival food was offered and the options are endless. I definitely recommend going here!

I waited out the rain of Friday before coming this was after 7:30pm but even so, the Fair had a lot of people attendingI think it was at half capacity. I liked this because this way I find have to make a line on the food stands. There was a myriad of different types of food. The grand star had a rodeo shot which was very impressive. This a fairly big fair with animal exhibit and live music. I wold recommend it to anyone looking for a fun weekend.

Flea market is a waste of time and money. Not any real deals there just a bunch of relics and obscure treasures you can find on eBay for half the price.

Much to see indoor and outdoor, many prices fair some sellers will go little lower. Make sure you make time to see it all.
