We arrived late night Friday and stayed here with our family over the weekend. Place was very clean and the continental breakfast consisted of fresh bagels, milk. veggies, nice serving of fruits and muffins. Owners were very polite and accommodating. Excellent place to relax and unwind. We visited few state parks and took a horse back riding trip around the Pines forest. Fantastic place for a family. Suites are HUGE (ours had a full size kitchen, living room, Jacuzzi bath, and two bedrooms).

This is our third visit to the Kable House. Every time we stay here, we enjoy the peace and quiet this location has to offer. It is really a home away from home for us since we have access to full kitchen, two bedrooms, one for us and other for out two teen children and many extras which make our stay comfortable in comparison to booking a single or double hotel room.||Above all we enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and warm greetings we always receive from the owners. Very accommodating and helpful couple.||||In regards to things that you might consider doing while spending a few days here is visiting the state parks, White Pines and Loden. Excellent hiking trails, boating, fishing and magnificent natural habitats of many species of birds and wildlife. My son Andrew, enjoyed the kayaking down the Rock river the most and I have to admit it was a lot of fun for both of us. Great bonding and memories.||||Our suite was clean and well maintained. Fridge always stacked with goodies for our breakfast and a variety of snacks to choose from. It is nice to be able to sit together at a table and simply have a conversation with the family, plan trips and schedule things to visit for the upcoming day.||||Overall, very pleasant experience. We spent ten days here, attended a few concerts in town, 4th of July parade, fireworks show and a silent auction. It is great to see the local, non-commercialized festivities, something that brought many happy childhood memories. I am glad that my children were able to spend this time with us as well, building a strong family bond and happy memories has always been something that I appreciated very much.

Had a fantastic experience booking the rooms, including by request breakfast food. Upon arrival, we had a lovely set of rooms that suited our young family of four needs to a tee. The fridge was stocked with more than we asked for and the bedrooms were charming. I thoroughly enjoyed our experience and it warmed my heart to work with this kind young family in this sweet town.

My husband, my friend, and I stayed for one night at this B&B because of its location. We showed up at 1PM, the check-in time, and the owner didn't even ask our names. She trusted we were the right ones. We got the whole left side, the family suite, which was much bigger than I imagined. We had two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a separate living room, which was stocked with coffee, milk, almond milk, orange juice, yogurt, cereal, and bananas. She even included shampoo, body wash, towels, and extra blankets. To check in, we had to fill out a simple piece of paper. The owner was quite nice and made sure the home was very clean. She allowed us to check-in or out at any time, as long as we called and let her know. Overall, it was a good experience. The only weird thing was I found all these green pellets in our bed...

we showed up for our accomidations before my granddaughters wedding. we had the mother of the bride with us and we were the grandparents. the room we were led to up a flight of stairs that went straight up, quite a challenge for people in their 70s, smelled of cat urine, was dirty with bugs in the bath area, the bed all messed up, sofa covers in disarray and the carpeting I would not even put in my dog kennels. We refused to stay under those circumstances. They hollered at us it wasn't 24hr. notice. I explained we were from out of the area and had no way of knowing or we would not have booked it. The stairs lacked railings, it was a mess. I did get my money back tho, and be assured I would have fought to the end to get it. I feel sincerely sorry for out of town people put in this situation. We had to go 20miles from the wedding sight to get another room, but it was worth it||.

We were traveling around the USA, and stumbled upon "The Kable House Inn". We were amazed where the property was located. We slept great, since it was very quite and comfortable. It was extremely clean and well organized. The owners were very helpful with any requests we made. We love it and if we were ever given the chance to travel again we will defendant stay there again.

We stayed two nights while visiting family in the area. The queen suite had a sitting room and a big bedroom with a bathroom. The rest of our family stayed in a queen room with a bath next door. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The Inn is located on a golf course and was very quiet. Cereal, yogurt, English muffins and fruit were stocked in our room refrigerators. The rooms had many windows and the AC worked well. Outside there is a fire ring, fire wood, picnic table and stadium chairs for the guests. The wifi worked well in our rooms on the 2nd floor.

Over priced, this is a small town in the middle of no-where. It was advertised as a B&B, there were 2 bagels in the fridge, spoiled milk, and D-Con rat poison in one of the cabinets. I was glad it was only one night. The owners were very nice but due to the fact they were not native to the United State, I think they don't realize how bad rat poison appears to Americans. With the house being clean I can't give them a terrible review but they really need to step it up.
