I can’t say enough good things about this resort. And when I say resort, I mean resort. You don’t have to leave the property for anything - although the desert is lovely and you should go out and explore it too.

All of the restaurants are top notch with various price points and offerings, the pools are many are great, and there are so many amenities, you really aren’t left wanting for anything. (The only thing I do miss is the nightlife entertainment. They used to have a club called Costas that was a lot of fun.)

I also need to give a special shout-out to the on-site tennis club. I’ve taken the morning clinics and a private lesson there. I definitely recommend you ask for Evan if you can use some pointers to elevate your play. He’s one of the best coaches I’ve ever come across. Ask for him, you’ll be glad you did.

All in all, it’s an amazing property. You’ll love it.

Only got to stay one night before our flight out and wished we had stayed longer. The resort is stunning and the landscaping top notch. The pools are nice and we especially loved the view from our room. We got upgraded to the nicer view which was great but a long walk to and from the lobby.

The room was reasonably large and everything was functional and clean. The bathroom was decent but we very much disliked the window thing they have for the tub. If someone goes to the washroom during the night it lights up the entire room which was annoying.

There is a game room for kids which looked pretty neat and they have boat rides available for $5 week days and $10 week ends.

They also have a $45 resort fee which includes the parking so at least they don't add that on top. Despite this we would love to return and spend more time here.

JW Marriott Desert Springs has been our absolute favorite go-to whenever we visit California! Thanks to my aunt’s timeshare, we’ve had the pleasure of staying here at least five times, and every visit has been nothing short of amazing.

Each stay is about 5-7days, and no matter how many times we come back, the experience never disappoints. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful landscapes, peaceful lagoons, and those iconic flamingos that always add a special touch. The atmosphere is both luxurious and relaxing, making it the perfect getaway.

The pools, golf courses, and on-site dining options are fantastic, and there’s always something to do. Whether we’re just lounging by the water, enjoying the spa, or taking in the breathtaking views, it always feels like a true vacation.

It’s rare to find a place that consistently delivers an exceptional experience, but JW Marriott Desert Springs does exactly that. We can’t wait to come back again!

I am only sharing my one day visit experience. My family and I ate at Mikado restaurant, and it was excellent. Great service, chef was entertaining, and server was very friendly and helpful with answering my questions. Highly recommend. Quality of food and place of love location was very beautiful. I almost forgot to mention that I prior to our dinner reservations, I enjoyed a skinny margarita on the rocks at the bar located in the lobby. It was very good. It was so good that I drank it like water. 😋

JW Marriott Desert Springs - $400 a night for a room that feels stuck in time. Beautiful resort with awesome pools and flamingo lakes, but the rooms? Seriously need an update. Stayed for a real estate conference and while the venue is impressive, the accommodations are showing their age.

It is really hard to beat this location especially in the winter. Warm Sunny days with cool evenings. Pools and arcade for kids, 2 lovely golf courses, and a spa to help relax.

The views around the valley are fantastic with tons of stuff to do outside the hotel if you want to venture out.

Went for a conference and had mixed feelings. The resort is beautiful. Lots of areas for walking and most areas were immaculate. The grounds seemed to be worked on at all times. A walk around the property block was about 3 miles and many beautiful sights. Parking was convenient and FREE. The ball staff helped with our bags and we checked in an reviewed our e-mail. The desk clerk updated our information and pointed to where our room was. We walked to our room and returned in half an hour to find our bags still waiting to be delivered. Apparently there was a miscommunication between the staff. We walked our bags to our room. The room was spacious. The room attendant we had for multiple days did a nice job of cleaning. We had one day in the middle of our staff where we never got service. The pool area is wonderful and the staff very friendly. The bar area dominates the lobby area. Wonderful place for meeting and/or watching sports. The bar staff was very attentive whenever we were there. The conference area is expansive and was used for several events. The staff was always helpful. There are many shops on property and a strip mall conveniently across the street. At check-out, we asked for the receipt to be e-mailed and found the address had not been updated.

Many amenities. Great staff and atmosphere. Clean. Cool boats and birds. Mini golf! Parking full on weekends but otherwise easy.
Very cold hallways. Sliding translucent windows into bathrooms so you can watch TV from the tub turn out to let the light out when your roommate goes to the bathroom in the night. Not ideal.
