Such a wonderful resort. We had the best experience. I would highly recommend staying here. The late summer tempter was just right. A chance to eat outside and talk about your day. Outside your room the private deck overlooking the valley and the peaceful sound of the river below. A place you could sit for hours in peace.

My husband and I stayed at this resort 30 years ago when it first opened. We drove up for the day and had lunch at the restaurant. The staff were amazing and the food was delicious. I regret that I didn’t get the name of the restaurant chef. He was so kind and because I wasn’t feeling well, he made me some chicken and rice soup for me. He didn’t have to do that but I am glad he did. His extraordinary kindness was something unexpected..Thank you.

They have the most honest staff! I lost my money, but one of the staff members found it, kept it safe, and returned it to me. A special shoutout to Patience, who was incredibly helpful throughout. And the breakfast? Absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely visit again.

Unit 37. Cooling didn’t work. Loft bedroom 85-90 degrees even after it was “fixed”. Promised in ad washer dryer but had to get access to cleaners to have use of one. Designated parking spaces was promised and then we were told days before our trip( too late to cancel and get our money back) that the parking lot was being resurfaced. So guess what? Someone parked in our space and had to have the Resort move them. Beautiful area but this privately owned unit is not worth the $600 a night for the reasons above and other smaller problem not mentioned .

Beautiful resort. Got a 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin that had its own private hot tub on the patio. Patio overlooked oak creek. Nice and quiet. Wonderful place to recharge.

Such a beautiful property, the views are stunning, an awesome place for a relaxing family weekend.
We stayed in #49 and #50 at the far end of the property. We could see and hear the creek but it was fairly far away. However, the view from our balconies more than made up for the proximity to the water. The towering rocks, the changing view based upon the location of the sun was just amazing. I believe we spent more time on the balcony than indoors which is what I was hoping for.

Accommodation comments-
I am handicapped and was able to maneuver my walker from the parking lot and into and around the lower level of our creek house quite easily. The chair with ottoman was greatly appreciated along with the bathroom accommodations including safety rails around toilet area and a large walk-in or roll-in shower. HOWEVER the bed in the master bedroom was very high and extremely difficult and dangerous to get into. That, along with a pub-height dining set, make it difficult for those of us that struggle with walking, balance and accessing furniture. I would term this a SEMI-handicapped accessible room. More thought about sleep and dining accommodations should be considered.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, parking was great, property and creek house were clean, neat and pleasing.
The proximity to beautiful Sedona is wonderful but I would highly recommend avoiding the hotel crush of Sedona. Take a few extra minutes and drive through lovely Oak Creek Canyon to stay at this awesome property.

I wanted to leave a good review so badly! ?Beautiful location and on the creek, but cabin wasn’t ready at check in time. We waited almost two hours to get into our room…drove from super far away too for my birthday. They offered us late checkout for the inconvenience, which we took, but then someone knocked on our door at 9 am and woke us up because they didn’t know if anyone was in the room!? So we ended up leaving at 10 am anyway. ?

Cabin was so-so,definitely could use an update and smelled a bit of sewage. Won’t be staying here again unfortunately but you live and you learn.

Awesome place with great amenities. Right on oak creek. Has a restaurant but each cabin I believe has a full kitchen with most everything you need to cook and eat there is you choose to. There are grills as well. They have a horse shoe pit, fishing, some of the accommodations have hot tubs. Very close to slide rock. Highly recommend.
