We had high hopes for this RV park but we were very disappointed in one VERY important aspect - this RV park is not big rig friendly. It claims to be, but it's not. Perhaps that's why they ask you to sign a waiver before you stay here? The people here are very friendly, but the layout of the interior roads is horrible because there is no way to make the turns without damaging your RV. We have stayed at hundreds of RV parks and this one was one of the worst in that regard. As we were navigating to our site, we were greeted with sharp curves that were only 12 feet wide with obstacles on the far side and CURBS on the inside. Yes, that's right, this RV park has CURBS on the interior roads! Whoever designed this park has obviously never driven a long RV or semi. They should be a MINIMUM of 20 feet wide to support big rigs. The smaller curves are fine for rigs 40 feet or under, such as small fifth wheels and travel trailers, or for motor homes with trailers and toads that are articulated in the middle, but definitely not for our 48-foot fifth wheel plus F450. No matter how I navigated the turns - going as far forward and squaring it off as much as possible, our fifth wheel tires either had to drive over the curbs or scrape the curbs, both of which are horrible for your tires and/or suspension. This park needs to immediately REMOVE THOSE CURBS and the obstacles that prevent making wide turns and then it would be a 4 or 5 star park, but any park that is designed to damage your RV deserves this review. We had to off-track quite a bit driving into and out of our site as well, even when I start at the farthest opposite extent of the road, but since that's just grass it's no big deal, it's the curbs on the corners that are the big problem. The utilities are also located at the back of the sites which means you need longer utility connections, so that wasn't designed in the best way either, but it's usable. Now that I'm done ranting about having to damage our RV while navigating this park, I'll talk about some other aspects of the park that weren't as bad. The pool area is nice, and while it was cool when we were there, I'm sure it's a big hit in the summer. The laundry was reasonable and worked well. There are nice dog parks as well. If the owners remove those curbs and send me photos, I'll be happy to update this review and the rating.

Super nice people in the office. Nice pull throughs with large concrete areas in front of the camper for sitting and lounging. The pool and lazy river were nice and fun. Be sure to stay on right side of the park, there are a lot more shade trees. We stayed in spot K01 and its very nice with a few palm trees and grassy area for the dog. The internet was blazing fast, but we were parked right next to the router. Will definitely stay there again (on the right side this time).

Fantastic location, beautiful clean campground. All paved spots, full hook up, lazy river is great and the water slides are a lot of fun. Clean bathhouses and grounds. They even have free events like movie night with popcorn, s'mores night with everything provided, etc.

We've really enjoyed our stay at Johnny's. When we first got here, the pool was closed for renovation. The staff worked hard to get the work done and the pool was fully opened recently. Our kids want to be in it all day. We have been here several months and plan to be here for the summer. There is an activities building with a nice theater setup. They have family movie nights with popcorn. There is a nice lakehouse with a gym and a pool table, Foosball, video games, card table and full kitchen. We can fix dinner in there and play with our kids. There are game nights and lots of activities for everyone. Some spots are shaded around the lake, while others are more spaced out on the other side. This is a family-oriented park that we're so happy we stumbled upon!

We had a wonderful camping experience at Johnny’s. The management is wonderful in communicating with us as we arrived very late in the day. We only stay 3 nights, however was welcomed by nice long and short term guest. Very friendly resort close to town with everything we needed. The bathrooms were spotless! We will definitely book again!
