Food was fresh but not as good as the one in Gary Indiana that I’m used to. Also customer service wasn’t the best either. Woman at the counter was on the phone the whole time

There’s an older man there that I think works second shit who makes the wings so watery and unpleasant. The young male cook makes everything better and I refuse to go there if he not there. The difference is night and day. The bbq sauce is a completely different color when the older man cooks. When the younger one cooks the sauce is dark, thick, and tastes so good. This is just watery and flavorless, like he mixes water into it.

I was extremely satisfied with the nice lady at the counter. She was extremely accommodating and patient! I went on a Saturday and was able to get their advertisedv lunch specials. I originally wanted the catfish fillets, but settled for the 2pc perch. The 5 wings with fries and pop was pretty decent. I wish the perch was a bit fresher. Waited about 15 minutes and left the nice left a tip.

I am not a fan of JJ ever since the change of management BUT since we have a new one in South Holland I've been waiting to give them chance.. I received a Grand Opening coupon and used the one for 6 whole wing dinner.. One of the pieces of chicken should of been Thrown away instead of given to a customer.. 1st and last time there, I have to assume that the knowingly put that chicken wing in my container and it can't be eaten! It was open just like this..Not appetizing at all! Thats my first impression and it wasn't crowded or a rush order!

Stop by while in the Chi to visit my father, the food was ok, I am use to catfish fillets not the catfish steaks they serve, they also forgot to pack my order of onion rings to go.

I had a catfish filet and chicken strip combo. I ordered ahead and the food was ready when I got there. The cashier was real cool. When I got home my food was piping hot and everything was fried perfectly. The fish and chicken were both crispy but not overcooked. You can tell they rotate their cooking oil. I hope this is the regular experience at this location because I'll definitely be trying it again.
