My first time but my friend raved about the biscuits, which were mini sweet corn muffins with cheese. Those were delicious.
I had brisket with a side of fresh fruit. I enjoyed the flavors but the serving was a bit small and the fresh fruit was mostly grapes and a cut up strawberry. My friend had the pork plate and he enjoyed it. We liked the type of ice in our drinks, it was like sonic's. Our server Taylor was great. We even got our military discount. Thanks for the good food!

My server was a young man named Trace! He did such a great job and was very attentive to our every need! I was also informed that the woman who sat us was their manager named Whitney. She was very kind! Everyone had smiling faces, it was a very welcoming environment!

On 2/10/2024 I ordered 2lbs of brisket (cooked to perfection), also ordered 1 lbs of ribs (wasn't my favorite) 2 large sides and 12 rolls. Spent over a $100.00 dollars.
Today: 2/17/2024. Went back for more of the delicious brisket. It is horrible, to much fat and the slices are so thin this time. Be consistent with your cuts of meat. Remember, everyone don't desire salty food
(2lbs of ribs too salty). What a waste of time and money.

Wow.. I couldn’t have stopped anywhere else to enjoy such a great meal while on the road! Everything was amazing! Service, food, the atmosphere, everything! I would have to say this was the best Bar-B-Q I’ve had from a chain restaurant! The barbecue sauce tasted extremely unique and delicious!

Being from the west coast I figured Jim N Nick's, may be meh since it was a chain. But I was pleasantly surprised. Everything I've had has been very good. And don't sleep on the biscuits. So good with that butter. The brisket exceeded my expectations, and the chicken with that Alabama white sauce was excellent! Never a bad choice if your in the mood for BBQ.

We stopped here on our way home from our son's basic training graduation. Our server was Andrea. One of our other kids had asked to get barbecue and we wanted to get one of the family meals (it's easier than individual orders for our large family), not knowing before sitting down that the family meal was only for carryout. I explained our error to our server when she came back to take our order and she told us that if we were ok with it coming out in to-go containers then she'd go ahead and put the order in for one and we could sit there and eat it. The food was amazing, the service was even more amazing. I don't get down to Alabama much, this was actually my first time in the state, but I can almost guarantee that anytime I do I'll be coming here for a meal.

We love this restaurant, but this experience has us not wanting to come back. Our waiter had around 7 tables and was friendly with every table, but ours. He greeted everyone asked them if they were ok and needed anything. Things a normal waiter should do. Another waiter came over and gave us our cheese biscuits. When my husband asked for the check it took him 10 min to deliver it. We will not be back

The brisket kid is back at it. This time I am in Alabama to shoot a video and stopping here for dinner. It came recommended by locals and didn’t disappoint overall. It was a slow time of day so service is hard to judge but was fast for me. I got the meat sampler to try and thought the chicken was phenomenal! Great smoke but not too dry. The smoked Turkey was a little greasier than I like and dark meat. As for the brisket, I was a little disappointed. It was good but has a flavor that reminded me more of pot roast. Which is yummy but not when you want brisket. Not sure what it was but it taste like there was no smoke. The baked beans were top notch. They remind me of a flavor I can’t put my finger on. The bbq corn was ok but it is because I didn’t like the sauce on it. I wiped it off and it was fine. Not a bad place to stop for some solid food. Maybe the brisket was an off day. Otherwise it was all good.
