JB’s Steakhouse

For Robinson, JB’s Steakhouse is the only “upscale” dining establishment. It is conveniently located on the square, right across from the courthouse. We ate here two times while staying in town on an extended business trip. On the first visit, I chose the steak from the “Two for” menu. While cooked to the correct temperature, the steak was a bit tough and lacked flavor. The baked potato was OK, and the bread pudding was delicious for dessert! I chose the pork chop on the second visit. It was excellent. The lettuce wedge salad was very tasty, too! On both occasions, the staff was friendly and provided excellent service.

Fantastic food staff and environment ! Came in to town late and with JB’s about to close we were not sure they would serve us. We had a delicious steak burger and Philly but the most interesting and tasty sweetened green beans. The staff was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely. We would definitely come back again👍

Made the drive from Terre Haute using the #TVDinnersForTwo local dining card. Had a great meal. And will be back. Great service too. Pictured: Bacon Wrapped Scallops and Baked Goat Cheese in Marinara, Excellent Salads, New York Strip, Surf and Turf with Sirloin and Sea Bass, 10 oz Sirloin, Birthday Cheesecake, and a coffee to cap the evening.

My favorite place to eat in Robinson lunch or dinner. I got their Italian Beef Sandwich with the Loaded Baked Potato Soup. The beef was delicious & so tender & juicy. And the Loaded Baked Potato soup is my favorite, no matter the season. The atmosphere is lovely & service is always great. I'm so grateful JB's is in Robinson.

We had the caprese chicken, Brussels side salad chicken corden blue onion rings loaded potato soup and ahi tuna. They were all amazing. We are from Ga and love to find a good local restaurant. This is it. We hunt in Illinois and will definitely be back.

No one in our dining party liked their dish. Steak was over cooked, blackened fish was over done and salty, seabass was undercooked.....
Server looked tired and disinterested.

The bread and the chocolate lava cake was delicious! The sirloin had a good taste but very tuff!
