I was looking for some Mexican food in Coachella and found Jalisco, and it was a good experience!

From the moment I walked in, I noticed how much people were there! So i assumed it was going to be great!

The staff was friendly and attentive.

The food was really good. And met our expectations.

Definitely recommend!

During our training, I stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The first time I had a torta and then the next day I had tacos. Both were excellent. The service was great and it’s always a packed house at lunchtime so get there a little bit early. Prices are extremely reasonable as well.

This is the place “ authentic” Mexican restaurants try to imitate. Atmosphere, food, service - everything was just right. And real. And it’s nice to find a good place outside the greater Indio/Palm Springs area. Very nice lunch experience - on the short list of restaurants I’ll visit again.

Wonderful place. Kind and friendly owners. I came here to wait after dropping my truck off for repair at the auto-shop around the corner.

Had to wait a long time for a ride, and the folks here took such good care of me! Treated me like family --- like I was visiting in their own home.

Their birria is amazing! And their cerveza is ice cold and served in frozen mugs.

10 out of 10!

Lack of service. Not one time was I checked on. Chips and Salsa were $3.99 extra. Chips were cold. Salsa was bland. Drink served from a plastic bottle that was $3.50.. Carne Asada was cold. Beans were bland… no seasoning. Only thing good or seasoned was the rice. Will not be going back.

We enjoyed our meal very much. Wet Burrito was delicious. The salsa and hot sauce were good too. We wanted something more made from scratch and Jalisco delivered. Nice family service. Lots of locals dining so you know it is good.

This has been one of my fav spots but idk if its the seasoned Chefs that are losing their touch or the new blood not picking up on the recipes that made Jalicos great place to eat. In my opinion not the same as years past reason for giving them 3 stars.

Tried the tostada, tacos, and my friend had the torta. Very good food. Loved my tostada, but it is definitely not date night food. So messy. But, as I said, very good.
