It’s always very crowded there during dining hours. I feel like they are a bit understaffed because we have to wait a while for the tea. The food is okay for the price that you are getting. It’s decent, but of course not the best sushi you could get here. The environment could get a little chaotic during dining hour, so you might want to come early.

Really nice staff. Very quickly sat. I liked most of the food but thought the food was better when ordered fresh from the trains. An example would be the temperature of the sashimi was not cold enough but the portion was huge at least for the salmon. Ordered the walu which was better. It’s a fun concept and good when you’re not too hungry.

Nice revolving sushi place inside a mall. They had good quality fish and their portion size was also good. I felt some sashimi and sushi could have been little smaller for better experience. Their fish were fresh and i recommend this place overall.

It was my first time going here.  I ordered for take-out.  The service was fast and easy to place an order for take-out.  It was pretty busy, but the service was fast.

We ordered:

1.  Gyozo - As you know, my go-to  and this was perfectly cooked and not greasy.

2.  Shrimp pops - Super crunchy and flavorful.  I was happy that it wasn't a shrimp tempura but way better.  The perfect bite. I wished it was more than 2 pieces.

3.  Spicy tuna maki  - Fresh and definitely not holding back on the spice.

4.  Dragon roll  - So flavorful, you can taste all the different items just blend together in the perfect bite.

5.  Deep fried California roll - It wasn't what I expected, but way better. It wasn't all batter, but you can tell it was lightly fried

6.  Beef donburi. - Not your standard beef teriyaki. It was finely chopped like a chashu. It tasted amazing.

7.  Chicken karaage - Crunchy but not overly cooked like some places where it's chewy

Overall, the price wasn't bad for the portions.  I believe it was reasonably priced. I can't wait to come back and try more items and experience the revolving sushi.

I luv this place. I eat there by myself or with friends. We luv the food and the revolving sushi. Then, walk around Serramonte the work off the luch or dinner. It is one of the best foods the mall has put in a long time. I've been going to Serramonte since the 70's.

Wonderful little "hole in the wall" in a mall! Reminds me of a speak-easy in Las Vegas. Fun atmosphere and that motorized sushi train, along with an automatic little train that delivers your ordered food. What fun! Now that only goes so far as the food is REALLY good.👍

It really depends on your sushi preference but everything (to me) is good. However, watch out for those who don't follow the rules. We saw one person taking lids off the food to take a closer look at the food and then put the lid back on. The rules are, if you touch the dishes on the conveyor belt you have to take it. Probably for sanitary reasons.

Still can't wait to go again either way.

A good quality and variety conveyor belt sushi. Sushi rice has good texture and seafood is fresh.

Better than Kura Sushi (Stonestown location), also conveyor belt sushi chain, where I’m usually a regular and a sucker for the gacha toy capsules (very bad luck so I rarely get the good prize) offered as a prize for every 15 sushi plates.

Moderate wait on a Saturday where you can check your place in line on the monitor in front of the store.

Went there late Aug Saturday evening dinner time, it was packed. We checked in with counter to get a number and input our phone number , after waited 25 mins, we got seated at 4 people table. Feels like if you only have 2 people, the wait will be shorter.
Love the hand roll.
Love the sashimi.
Even though it's packed, the service is efficient and attentive.
Compares to Kura Sushi, I think Kura is more fun and we get to insert the plates after eating later get some toys. But for the food quality, I love Izumi better.
