The staff at Island Brew are some of the kindest and warmest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Sam, who I believe is the owner, is an absolute peach and is guaranteed to make your day if you run into him.

The baked goods are delicious, and you can taste the love that goes into them. The scones in particular are to die for, and the ginger chew is a cookie that’s borderline lifechanging.

Not only that, but even their food is amazing- I find myself here for lunch regularly, and I am never disappointed. I’ve been making sure to let all my coworkers know to go in for lunch, too!

Great establishment, family friendly atmosphere, and all around nice place to be in. Do yourself a favor and stop in for some coffee and a scone on your way into work, you’ll be glad you did.

Cute little shop we happen to walk by, stopped in for some coffee. Sam, the barista - great personality, so welcoming. Good selection. Espresso shots were flat but still good, not burnt. Good selection of pastries to enjoy, cute little comfy place

Charming little spot owned by a lovely Brit. Not on the tourist maps yet, so easy to get in and out. Has proper scones - the sausage, sage and cheddar is delicious but the salmon/dill stole the show! Grateful for some good coffee after a few days with the swill on Princess Cruise line. Thanks for the warm welcome!

My family and I were visiting from Virginia on the Carnival Luminosa. We stumbled upon this coffee shop and OH MY GOSH!!! The food and atmosphere were absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! Please if you ever visit Ketchikan, please stop by this place. You WILL NOT leave disappointed. Matter of fact we were there a short time and felt like family. What a great little local owned shop. On a side note, my husband does not drink coffee and after tasting mine he got one:)

I'm writing to share an unexpected and delightful experience. While I'm not typically a coffee aficionado, I recently tried my wife's coffee from Island coffee cafe, and I was completely blown away. The coffee itself was exceptional—rich, flavorful, and perfectly brewed.But what truly made the experience memorable was the incredible service. Sam, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. His staff mirrored this positive energy, making the whole visit a pleasure. And as a bonus, the biscuits were delicious I highly recommend Island Brew Cafe to anyone looking for a fantastic cup of coffee and a truly exceptional customer experience. It's a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered.

This place is amazing. The workers are so interactive and the cashier Sam is so kind and friendly. I love his vibe and I love how he is so active with his customers. My dad never drinks coffee and he tried my coffee and he said mmm I have to get one of these coffee, he got the coffee and he almost drank all of it. The food is amazing I loved the sausage egg biscuit I ate all of it and I never eat all of my food. I definitely recommend this place to eat and have a coffee. Definitely come here if you like coffee.
