Visited yesterday, we placed an order online tru door dash for pickup since we gonna visit San Carlos & white mountain and its breeze free we found cheaper to order tru door dash and I dunno why.. food are good, so bad I placed it and soak the food for an hour I'm sure it tasted good when its fresh from the kitchen .. portions are good we have:
▪︎3 beef taco
▪︎steak & shrimp (4pcs) - i havnt thought the shrimp gonna be breaded. i thought it's like fried in the butter like surf & turf..
▪︎mexican rice

Verdict: Yes we will come back and try other food

Great place to eat Mexican food when you are in Globe or passing through from Show Low/Mountains.
This trip I brought my 90 yr old Dad up with me to visit some gravesites and go eat Mexican food which is always a ritual with my family. (We love to eat out especially Mexican food).
Irene's Restaurant was very clean including the bathrooms.
Place was decorated cute with colorful flowers, and service was excellent. Jennifer, our super friendly server, was right on top of evening that we needed and even brought 2 boxes and bags for our leftovers and chips to take home too.
The music that was playing was pretty good too. Some country, some new music but overall good, happy music.
We will definitely recommend this place to others and we will be back soon!

I paid $19.53 for one taco, one cheese enchilada, and chips and guacamole. The first thing of quac I was given is shown in the picture. I then had to pay an additional $6 for guac to go with the chips. The guac was so spicy I couldn’t eat it. Food was mediocre at best. Unsure how it equals $20 though.

We did not care for the rice. The beans tasted like they came out of a can. There’s no way they serve canned beans there, but they sure captured the taste. Though our waitress was nice, she was unavailable anytime we needed her. We had to ask for everything we needed. Now that the negative stuff is out of the way, we loved the green chile. My wife loved the tacos. The cheese crisp was probably the best I’ve ever had. We loved the chips. My wife loved the salsa, but I did not. There’s something sweet in a lot of the salsas in the Globe/Miami area. I don’t like it. But that’s just a personal preference. We met the owner as we were leaving. She could not have been more gracious. I know what I like there now, so we will definitely be back. They just need to work on attentiveness by the wait staff. If they get this figured out, I will change it to five stars.

The food did not disappoint. It was nice and hot when I received my food. The service could've been better. After eating a delicious meal, I went to the restroom and the restroom was a complete mess. Very disgusting. I mentioned it to the worker before getting a to go box she stated they know, and I waited in line for my to go box they took care of three other Customers that were waiting behind me so I kinda got a little irritated and told her I'm just standing here for to go box I don't want to wait any longer and there were 3 cashiers up front? I was with my toddler so finally by mentioning that one of the female waiters gave me a to go box and I said I will post seems but to them it seemed as though there was no problem.

Went in with my family. Hadn’t frequented in a while. We had a better server than the last couple of visits. The rest of the staff was awful the girl with the tacky long nails is always horrible we ask her for things and she goes and talks to other people. Twice now she has sat the entire length of our meal with a police officer and never once got up to check on us. The server we had this last time was the only one on the floor. Two other server were standing at the counter talking the entire time. Our waitress was so busy a cart full of food lots of drinks, greeting people left and right. A gentleman ( I can only assume to be some form of management) came out and cleared some dishes and talk to quite a few guests. He could see our waitress was the only one working but he kept approaching her and look to be scolding her. She maintained her composure the whole time. At one point she was so busy she dropped glass bottles and cut herself. Nobody that worked there even lifted a finger and asked her if she was alright. Even though you could tell she was hurt she immediately started apologizing to customers and got a wet floor sign. Still continue serving with a smile on her face. I asked her if she was alright and even though she had a smile, you could tell she was over the night. Finally someone came to help clean up. The entire time this took place not one of the other two servers stepped foot in the dinning room. I also heard this server get scolded several times. To this server we left you a generous tip, which I’m sure you appreciated. I don’t think we will come back. All though the food was good. I can not give my business to a place that treats their staff so horribly! To our server 10/10 you are the sweetest person and deserve a better and rewarding career. 3/4 food was rather good about the same as any other small town Mexican food. 1/4 the atmosphere not so much, building is a little run down, it is rather hot in the building. 0/4 to other staff that should be ashamed of the way they conduct themselves. Maybe some new management or even some better servers that take pride in their jobs.
