The food was fairly good. The steak was tasty and I was given a generous portion. The tater tots were really good. The only thing was that the bread was kind of soggy and not strong enough to hold the sandwich together. Also there only is one restroom and it is kind of outside and very cold.

Great place to meet new people and have good food. Yes the building is over 100 years old (and looks every bit of it but the folks there do more to make you feel welcome than most places.

Absolutely, a treasure. A historical treat and with friendly, welcoming bartender, even though he was quite busy, with many customers. He told us the historical background of the many amazing photos on the wall. Baked potato was delicious. Very inviting and fun stop on a trip from Yosemite to Visalia. Only a small detour to get to this gem, and I can’t recommend it more.
