I cant say enough nice things about this place. Stayed here when visiting Yosimite, its about 40 min to the south gate (which is less busy) but 1.5 hours to the main visitor center but we knew this when booking. We stayed in the mist trail room & it was clean and very spacious with a large sitting area, a full kitchen, a bedroom, 2 bathrooms, & a patio. The sitting area has a tv & fireplace (for use only in colder seasons), the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes/utensils. The patio over looks a peaceful natural area & it has a gas grill (& grilling utensils in the kitchen.) The chairs at the kitchen table were hard & flat but it all looks very nice & decorated well. The bed & pillows were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was large with both a modern shower & a seperate tub for soaking which was wonderful after a day of hiking, plus lots of towels. They even had guide books and hiking/treking poles to borrow! They have a seperate game room with boardgames, foosball, & shuffleboard. Breakfast was kind of continental style where you are provided with a basket of items including pre-packaged waffles & pasteries, oatmeal, & granola bars plus a variety of fresh fruit including nectarines & plums. I will say that more juice would have been nice, we stayed 2 nights ; neither of us drink coffee/tea & both wanted juice for breakfast but there were only two juices, that woukd be my only suggestion for improvement. Staff was friendly & check in/out was quick & easy. We would be happy to stay there any time im in the area.

Beautiful place about 30-40 minutes from Yosemite South Gate. Very well thought out in terms of meeting guests needs. Nice friendly and helpful owner who patiently provided inside information about how to maximize our trips to the park. The venue provides some snacks but no breakfast. However grocery stores are nearby.

Super clean, super convenient, spacious, great amenities. The innkeepers were very nice and helpful with suggestions where to go in the park when we were looking for a light day after our big hike up Nevada Falls the day before.||The panorama trail suite is where we stayed… the big soaker tub, bbq grill, kitchen, comfortable furniture…. All great! The blackout shades were amazing when we wanted a day to sleep in. A 5-10 minute drive to the grocery stores, restaurants (the donut place in town was amazing for a quick breakfast heading to the park… good coffee!). We have nothing but good things to say about this place! ||Our only regret is having to check out and fly back home. Next time we will definitely stay longer and hope it is available when we come back to Yosemite!

Our family has used these Suites a few times and it's lovely every single time. The hosts are very personable and actually care about their customers. If you get to meet them, you will be blessed by them. Every room is clean, detailed and makes you feel like the woods have come inside. I highly recommend these suites. Their game room is set up for anyone to use and enjoy. It's all fabulous!!

It is hard to decide which was the most memorable experience the park or the accomodation. The rooms were opulent and extremely tastefully presented. Private balconies, bbqs, games room for kids, prime tv and Netflix, an excellently equipped kitchenette- the list is endless. Do yourselves a favour and make the booking!

Sherilee saved our anniversary trip! We had booked a “glamping” trailer in Oakhurst, long story short, that didn’t work out and we were 4.5 hours from home without lodging on a busy weekend. We pulled into Inn the Woods with little hope of a vacancy but were very happy when Sherilee said she had one room available for that night! She was SO sweet, gave us so many suggestions for things to do, and really just changed the trajectory of our trip we thought was lost. ||Our room was so cozy and clean. If we ever return to this area we would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff, clean themed rooms. The host, our host was very helpful explaining things in detail including where to visit.

My personal preference is not being walked to a room, but she was friendly enough regardless!
It would be appreciated if next time the option was presented: “do you mind if I came in to explain a couple details” so I could have the option to decline and get those details outside the clean room I just paid for or otherwise on paper.

We stayed for 4 nights in order to visit Yosemite and we were so pleased to have chosen Inn the woods to stay at. The accommodation is stunning! They have taken so much effort into making it exactly what you need. The amenities are perfect with the addition of an incredible games room! Handy ‘to go’ breakfast meant we could leave as early or late as we wanted in the morning while still getting something substantial to eat. Would definitely recommend!
