I had a wonderful weekend at the Ranch. It’s the perfect location for a trip to Yosemite. After a long day of hiking, it was great being close to town to relax and grab a bite to eat. I’m someone that gets cold easily, so I was delighted to see that our room came with a powerful heating unit. I’ll surely stay here again when I’m visiting Yosemite.

We were originally booked to stay at the Buck Meadows Lodge, but due to a plumbing issue (that was found before we arrived) we were upgraded to these cabins! On our honeymoon no less! The cabins are wonderful, relaxing, and in a beautiful area. Communication with staff during the room change was very easy and they were extremely friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Bad experience

- No host showing up at all. Pretty confusing check-in experience.
- We booked unit 9 and cottage 3. The AC in both rooms are super noisy and we had a bad sleep there.
- Bathroom is very small. The water has weird smell, like rust.
- I don't understand why it cost almost $300.

Spent 4 night here and enjoyed every aspect of my stay. Clean, quant, paradise. Less than 30 minuets to Yosemite gates. If your looking for a great experience alone or with the family, check this place out.

Raj at Yosemite West Gate and Inn at Sugar Pine Ranch saved the day when we had a problem with our AirBnB late in the evening. He went out of his way to make sure we had an accommodation even though it was late and he was fully booked at YWG. The cabin at Sugar Pine Ranch was cute and comfortable and gave us a feeling of being away from it all! The coffee maker, water bottles and toiletries provided were a great amenity and the bed was comfortable. The star-gazing from just outside our door was wonderful! Many thanks to Raj for his kindness and we will hopefully be back and/or send friends and family his way.

A unique and delightful Yosemite experience to match our classic car. Raj was super friendly and accommodating. He even hooked us up with a great motel for the next night outside the Yosemite exit we used!

One of the best stay I’ve ever been in Yosemite in Sugar Pine Ranch. You will witness great star gazing just 500ft from this place.||The cottage is well situated within the woods and has a vintage rustic vibe to it. You will also have access to pool well situated within the woods. || Overall, it was wonderful experience in staying Sugar Pine Ranch.

Me and my friends stayed at the Inn during our visit to Yosemite this Feb at the Family cottage. The experience was surreal to say the least. The cottage is well situated within the woods and has a vintage rustic vibe to it. The best of it all though, was the star gazing we got to do during the night. It was just too magical - we’ve experienced nothing like that before. The swimming pool (though we did not get a chance to use it) was well placed between the woods.
