My fiance and I had a wonderful magical time at Irish Hollow. We love the area and the winter setting was perfect. Our cabin was amazing. Certainly an "old world" feeling. The food was completely out of this world! We enjoyed 3 gourmet breakfasts that were delivered to our cabin each morning. Don't get me started on the 7 course dinner we had on Friday night!! The staff is absolutely amazing, welcoming, and accommodating, especially Mike. We will be returning in Nov to see the place in the fall and we can't wait. You owe it to yourself to stay at Irish Hollow with your significant other.

My girlfriend and I stayed in General Store Suite #1. An absolutely incredible, relaxing weekend! The food, service, and room was so lovely. A highlight of our weekend was being able to watch the cows graze in the pasture right across the street! Highly recommend, especially for a couples getaway.

Amazing place, amazing food, beautiful area. Our cottage was cozy, fun, and the perfect place to recharge for a few days. I only wish there was some snow on the ground but I won't blame them for the weather! I look forward to coming back some day, everyone we met here had come 8, 9, 10 times at least. An excellent bed and breakfast experience.

An incredible and memorable stay. Every meal served here has so much love and passion poured into it. The dinner was absolutely amazing, so many different flavors and textures. The morning brought breakfast was one of the best experiences ever. The thoughtfulness and care that went into assembling such a gem was outstanding. This stay with Bill and Tony was an unforgettable event!

Our stay was wonderful and we didn't want to leave. Can't wait to return again sometime....SOON! Fantastic meals and the staff strives to meet your every need. Our room was beautifully decorated and we went thru loads of firewood enjoying the woodburning fireplace. What an amazing place to relax and enjoy each other!!

Fabulous cottages with excellent linens, fireplaces, wifi and Spotify. Gourmet breakfasts delivered each morning, and fabulous 7 course dinner available. Service is excellent. Setting is private, perfect for couples looking to get away and unplug. Small, quiet, yet only 15 minutes from skiing and historic Galena, IL. We have been three times and we will be back! Plan ahead because they fill up quickly.

We drove a total of twenty hours to celebrate our anniversary at Irish Hollow and are so glad we did. The Gardener’s Cottage was not only luxurious, it was evident that great thought, care, and expense had gone in to designing and furnishing it. A beautiful flower arrangement and champagne and chocolates were there on our arrival, and the breakfasts, desserts, and seven course meal were better than anything we’ve experienced in our travels. Better still were Bill and the team. They all went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience, and we left feeling like we have new friends. The countryside is beautiful, and you will feel like you are in Ireland. If you want to escape from the hustle in both mind and body, if there is a better place to do so than Irish Hollow I haven’t found it.
