The golf course was great, and pretty well taken care of. The staff for this was great.
We checked in an hour early, to the hotel. They charged $25 extra to do so. We didn't mind, until we saw what we paid extra for. The appearance as we walked in, was clean. After this, we saw what all was not taken care of. There were minimal towels, no pool towels, no cups or glasses of any sort. There was no coffee pot, which would have been fine, if it would have been available at the clubhouse. There was one thin blanket, dingy sheets, and a horrible mattress. I don't think they have put anything into their facility for years. The pool and spa were dirty, and the spa heater did not work. Needless to say, we were quite disappointed.

No sheets, no towels. We checked in Thursday and garbage cans were no emptied on Sunday when we checked out. Our bathroom sink, only sink, would not drain. After two days of asking this to be resolved, my husband used a wire hanger to remove hair and gunk. Old mattresses and broken mirrors leaned against building. Total shit show and Manager will not return my calls.
Do not stay here!!!!!!

Positive: A place to sleep after a long trip.staff in the office were very nice. Negative: Took 1 hour just to get in front gate on busy road. Check in had poor signage no one at desk. Rooms were very old poor lighting at night outside. Pool area was dangerous with junk. Staff were very nice but needs better management.

Read the other reviews here… the one stars. They all are telling the truth. Beds were gross and lacked enough sheets. The AC unit spewed a burning odor when I turned it on that wouldn’t stop. The check in process is god-awful, have fun trying to find check in at night. My only positive is the room is quite spacious and has a nice area for eating.

I live here, the golf course is owned separate than the HOA and is in horrible condition. They leave broken and trimmed debris all over the golf course. The courses are overgrown and you won't be able to find your balls even in play. The water features are disgusting, or completely neglected. The restaurant is gross and they have many health code violations. I won't even bring my family here to golf or stay! Here is a picture of my backyard in Mountain course. This has been here for more than a week! Would you want to golf or vacation here? Eat at your own risk!!!!

NOTE: Some reviews here are NOT of the motel part based on pictures. Guessing those are the high scores. If interested, details to follow, but long story short, this is not a good place to stay. If you have any other options available, take them. This should be a last resort. The only redeeming quality is proximity to the Polo grounds.

Given the county club name, I'll be honest, perhaps my expectations were too high. But this is a detached hotel (more akin to a motel) that you'd see in the late 70s. To check in, you actually need to find the place to do that. It's hard to find, especially if you arrive at night. But it's at an unmarked desk inside of the golf clubhouse, past the restaurant, a couple minute walk from the hotel.

Common things you'd expect from a hotel were not present. No ice. Not a deal breaker, but no ice machine is a bummer. No blankets or comforter. The beds are just sheets. We were able to call and get some blankets (not great) sent up, but at night, I believe there is just one person who mans the phone/front desk and does things like this. No TV. I should say, the TV is there. And has a DirecTV remote, but it doesn't work. All of this is based on two different rooms.

No coffee machine. Nothing to make coffee or tea. No cups or utensils even if you wanted to microwave the bathroom sink water.

No iron (probably not a huge deal, but pretty common for hotels). Only 2 hangers. I know, little thing, but just an FYI as Im used to travelling and hanging my shirts, so if you go, bring some.

The air conditioner/heater is a wall unit. Im not sure if it was from little use or not, but when it was turned on, the one in my room smelled so bad we had to turn it off. The one in my parents room was better in terms of smell, but they are loud.

There is a "kitchen" area. The sink was removed. The pipes are still below, but no more sink basin or sink. Only water is in the bathroom. There is a microwave and old school fridge with the open/frozen over freezer area.

There is no desk area if you need to work. There was a raised area in the kitchen area with 2 tall chairs to sit at, so you could work there, although there were no close power outlets to it. And it would be uncomfortable over time.

The pool was, if I had to guess, not meant to be used. It was so dirty, I would worry for anyone going into it. The spa was cleaner (had chlorine it seemed), but was clearly not cleaned (trash floating in it). I was there on a weekend, so if they have a pool person, I assumed the spa would have been ready for the weekend.

Their electrical room was left open. Someone could walk in, yank cables, and hurt themselves.

The WiFi worked.

The card keys failed often. I carried the key card in the pocket not containing my phone, but failed after the first day. My parents had one of their 2 cards fail as well.

The beds were clean. Again, only having sheets was a bummer, but they were nicely made and clean. The headboards did bang against the wall if you made any sudden movements.

Im not sure if this is for every room, but our room had a water heater and circuit breaker in the room itself. Not a big deal, an oddity, but of note, as water heaters can break/leak.

The bathroom is tiny. You cant open the door if someone is on the toilet. There is a hair dryer. There was NO soap and only a small thing of shampoo. For my family of 4, there was one towel (and it had a few holes in it). You can request more towels. My toilet seat was missing a large chunk, so you had to sit sideways to not get cut. I made two calls to the front desk to have it fixed, but it was never fixed.

If you need to speak to the manager, you'll have to do it during business hours. If something is wrong, you can try calling their main line on your mobile, but every phone we tried (we tried 5 different phones) all got a message that "your number was reported as spam". Calling the front desk from your room, sometimes someone will answer, but if not, the mailbox was full all weekend, so no messages could be left.

Made a reservation for a king suite online and when we arrive to the hotel they told us that they only had 2 queen beds suite talk about false advertisement then we went to the first room the was dirty we found a used cherry stem on the night stand and half of the power like plugs and lights didn’t work either went back and told them that they gave us a second room and the room was still dirty never will I’ll be attending to this location again poor service and false advertisement on the rooms and if they wanna keep there business they need to keep up with there rooms and maintain them as well
