I happened to stumble across instep on Groupon. I was looking for a girls night of relaxation for my birthday and they did not disappoint. They allowed us to do a couples massage and were very friendly. I would definitely recommend, their prices are good as well and they even offer a prenatal massage for mommy’s to be. Also they offer a discount if you pay cash.

I have previously visited this place multiple times before and I’m extremely dissatisfied of the massage treatment that I received. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating when I called to book in
7 one-hour Swedish massage. There are different types of pricing for the services they offer ($50 cash OR $55 card) plus additional for oils. This review is specifically for the ambience and unsatisfactory massage I received on this occasion.

I arrived for my massage and had to wait 10 minutes after my scheduled booking time the massage area is a room with curtain which you can hear all noises from the Main Street and waiting area. I kindly asked the masseuse to ask they to be quiet but my request was ignored.

My masseuse used plastic food gloves when she massaged my feet and barely use the rocks for the Swedish massage- which is an additional cost to begin with. I will not be returning to this place and will not recommend it to anyone on the simple fact that I did mention that I was unsatisfied with the experience and in turn I was ask to tip my masseuse- which I did out of courtesy and respect of her time but not of her service. Book at your own risk.

Update Review (2 yrs later):
Unfortunately they have moved to a new location.
The original location was fantastic. The new location not so much. The serene atmosphere is now overtaken by the bustling sounds of the Mexican restaurant next door & the Plaza traffic. Your relaxation status is constantly disturbed by customers walking in and front desk discussions.
They also raised their prices. They were honestly the best bargain around. Now, they are pretty much like all other massage places.

2 weeks later, i went back for a 2 hour massage. OMG ! It's so amazing. I feel like a new person. Hot oil and stones feel so good. Also, they work out all of you, not just your shoulders like some other places.

This is my new go-to spot.

I’ve always have a good massage at InStep. This time I had the foot and full body and it was great.

I asked for the Chinese Medicine Oil.

Today my masseuse was Wendy and she did great!!
