Spent an evening in early September while on a road trip. Was a bit hot on arrival (90F+) but the evening cooled down nicely. The fan and ceiling fan (once we found the remote), cooled the tent off quickly once the sun set. There was only one other family at the facility, so it was incredibly quite (except for crickets and birds) and the star gazing from the tent porch was phenomenal (including the Milky Way). The tent wooden structures are rustic but very serviceable. They are solar powered and have a solar water heater - all of which worked as promised. Service at the lodge was good as were the food and drink. We did not really use the amenities there (pool, games, etc) as we arrived in the late afternoon and just stayed one night. We happened to stay in an ADA compliant tent and while there are no stairs to climb to access it, the gravel pathways to access it were a bit steep and would definitely present a challenge to someone in a wheelchair (or the person pushing them). It is a bit of a steep hike from the parking areas to the tents, or even from the parking area to check in, so be prepared for that. All doable especially as many are here to hike and/or bike the vineyard property but presented a little bit of challenge for us as my wife has just two months into a total knee replacement. Looking forward to coming back, probably for a couple night stay next time to take better advantage of location.

Arrived in the dark. It was very hard to find your tent in the dark...the tent numbers are tiny, not lit up and not by the walkway/road. Therefore, I had to walk into each tent to find mine. More lights are needed on walkways. Tents are nicely spaced apart so you get less noise from neighbors. Trails from parking lot are all uphill. All the luggage carts need a cover or canopy for when it rains- or offer a stand with trash bags to cover gear. Great stay otherwise. Helpful staff. Have small menu items for lunch and breakfast available. 2 wineries very close.

We stayed here mid September and had an amazing weekend. They tents and restrooms are very clean and well taking care of. Our two year old had so much fun running around the property, playing on the play structure and swimming. The tents have solar electricity, fans and outlets. Comfortable beds with bedding. All you need to bring with you is clothes, pool towels and food if you plan on cooking your meals (extra water doesn’t hurt) They have a small kitchen that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (mainly pizza and salad for lunch and dinner). The service was great and you felt well taken care of. They have e bikes you can rent and fun riding/ hiking trails near by. Also lots of activities such as s’mores and movie nights. Plan on a bit of a walk to your cabin as you park in the “parking lot” and walk with a wagon up to your tent. We will definitely be back.

This was a great place to stay if you like getting away and the outdoors, but prefer glamping over camping. This was a family trip with my kids ages 6-9. The site is on a vineyard. The tents are set up with everything you need - beds, linen, large cooler, cooking and eating utensils, and bbq grill. I also got an accommodation that included a private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Very kid friendly with a pool, park, games, and daily activities. They also serve and sell light breakfast, lunch and dinner options like pastries and pizza. The pool is not heated so my kids felt like the pool was cold.

Highly recommend. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Location and things to do on site were great. No complaints. Perfect place to unwind and leave the world behind. Everyone in our party loved it. Being located on a vineyard was a plus.

With the dawning light of morning, our slumber was sung to an end by a choir of quail, their melodic whistles of "chi-ca-go, chi-ca-go" mixing sweetly with the distant jubilant barks of ground squirrels. Woodpeckers added to the symphony, drumming out knock-knock jokes on a neighboring pine, stirring our spirits and beckoning our eyelids to a fresh new day. This was our blissful awakening to the Huttopia glamping experience at Six Sigma Ranch, an enchanting symphony of nature that cushioned us in tranquility.

The Huttopia tents, in contrast to the humbler tenting beginnings of our marital journey (decades ago), offered a decadent touch of luxury. Each tent provided comfort, from the plushness of the beds to the solar-heated showers. Amenities, ranging from gas BBQs to solar electricity, felt like a gracious nod to modern comforts, bringing the likings of home to the sprawling outdoors.

During our second night, a performance was staged by the local coyotes. Their merry yips and howls, echoing over the hills surrounding the camp, embellished our post-dinner euphoria. It was a charming encore to a day brimming with good food, fine wines and lively conversation with our friends.

Sprawled across a portion of the Six Sigma Ranch, Huttopia Wine Country houses over 90 tents. Each carefully equipped with all that one might need— linens, toiletries, kitchenware, and so much more. Though some require a short pilgrimage from the parking lot, the warm staff were ever willing to assist us in transporting supplies for our stay. Notably, these supplies included the delightful offerings of Six Sigma—a selection of their fine wines and excellent beef.

In conclusion, we recommend this enchanting adventure from the humdrum of daily life. Whether it's a backdrop for a simple getaway, celebratory cheers, or a quiet retreat for rejuvenation, this idyllic example of nature enriches every moment, offering a memorable experience, irrespective of what your regular days might entail.

As far as glamping, this place is pretty barebone. Yes you get a tent and access to the nice main building with a pool and cafe.

First the location is not that pretty. Basically unused land of the 6 sigma wineries. There is a steep uphill hike to your tent from the parking lot on a poorly graded path. The tent has a solar powered battery system that will power some stuff and water is the tent is just cold running water... As the hot water is from again solar heating. So no hot water if there is no sun. There is only one bathhouse for the entire site... Again requires you to walk a long way from your tent.

Lastly... Bring your own sleeping bags as they do not really provide sufficient blankets for cold weather. We went there thinking they will give us enough to get us thru a cold night... But all we got was a thin little duvet and we spent the night freezing in our tent and got no sleep. Ridiculous for the price they charge!

Glamping ? There are better options elsewhere.

Absolutely loved our stay at Huttopia Wine Country in Lake County! The pitches were spacious and well-maintained, providing a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The pool was a fantastic way to cool off and unwind after a day of exploring.

We were delighted with the Six Sigma Ranch Wine, which added a special touch to our evenings. The wood-fired pizzas were delicious and made for a perfect meal under the stars. The hospitality was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

Overall, Huttopia Wine Country exceeded our expectations and provided a memorable getaway. We can't wait to return!
