Some people hate hungry hobo but I love it. I always get the #11 which is basically an Italian sandwich with a sweet mayo and you can add onions and banana peppers. I don’t know why but I’ve never been able to recreate it at home, they have it perfected. I am a hungry hobo girl.

I am from out of state and wanted to give this place a try. I got the tuna sandwich, and it was bland and tasteless. They just took the tuna and threw it on a tasteless bread with no lettuce or any other condiments. The curly fries were tasteless. I took a few bites of the tuna and fries and literally threw it away in the garbage. Would never return here. I would never go anywhere else for a tuna sandwich except Jimmy John's.

Freshly baked bread for their sandwiches. Nice selection of hot and cold sandwiches with different sides for your order. Daily specials, as well. Our son goes to Augustana College nearby and we’ve been here a handful of times for lunch. Each time our food was great. Highly recommended. Enjoy!

I've been to 3 different locations and the service has always been good but the food is my main focus and the fact I can choose how I want my grilled chicken sandwich is a bonus but the most important part is how very delicious they are.

They ALWAYS get your order right. The food is always fresh and delicious. Customer service in any Hungry Hobo I've been in is fantastic. They ask questions, but don't try to push things on you. They don't rush you out when sitting and eating there. Great place

I am always impressed with the service at Rock Island Hungry Hobo. I got off work today and ordered my #11 King sandwich for my husband and I to share. I am 7 miles away from this location and it was ready when I got there. I was greeted with a smile and prompt service. (This happens even when there is a long line of ordering customers). My sandwich is also very delicious!!!!!
