This was my husband's idea and I'm so glad I did it. I got the turquoise sage 90 minute full body massage. Shawn did a wonderful job. Started with asking where my problem areas were. Offered water to drink. The table was heated on low. He started out with low pressure and gradually upped the pressure asking if that was so much or needed more. He worked on the areas I needed more. Honestly I almost fell asleep. :). Then ended with a sage cleansing. I definitely recommend and would definitely do it again.

I had a massage last week by Kim and let me just say it is the best massage I’ve ever gotten. I had some severe back pain due to a pinched nerve and she fixed it, it was at least 80-90% better just after the massage and she recommended what areas I focus on stretching which fixed it over the next day so I could hike without worrying about re injuring myself. She really listens and is excellent at what she does. If I could, I would see her every week. Will definitely be back to see her when I’m in the area again!

Kim was absolutely amazing. She gave an incredible massage. Not only was it relaxing, but she really helped with some areas that were sore from hiking and traveling. I got the turquoise and sage massage, but opted for a coconut essential oil that was so good I ended up buying one. Even if you don't stay at the hotel, you should give the spa a try!!

UPDATE: After speaking to my daughter in law, I phoned the spa and told them about the double tip. They immediately checked into things and provided a refund to my DIL's credit card for the extra tip. I appreciated their prompt action and have added the star back to my review. This is a nice spa and I appreciate their honesty at admitting they made a mistake and taking care of things quickly. I hope to use this spa again when I am back in Bluff.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: My son gave me a gift certificate for a massage at the Bluff Dwellings spa for my birthday. Kim was wonderful, asked me what I wanted and did exactly as I asked. She was very skilled and I walked out of there feeling wonderful. The essential oils used had a very pleasant fragrance and the sage smudge and blessing at the end were really sweet. Well worth the time and money.
I gave Kim a nice, well deserved 20% tip in cash when my massage was over. I'm deducting one star because my daughter in law called to ask if I had left a tip and was told I had not. She then added a tip to the bill, after I had already been generous. This was the fault of the office, not Kim, my massage therapist. I hope the tip was removed from my son's bill.

Today was my first time at the HoZho Spa, and it was a wonderful experience. I had a full body massage with Kim. I can’t recommend her enough, she was friendly, kind, very skilled, and professional. The sage smudge at the end was unique. I highly recommend Kim!
In addition, the room was clean, inviting, and nicely decorated.

Great massage, easy to book and pay online. It was very nice to be able to take a shower before and use the hot tub after. There is a great little store inside and cafe right next door. The perfect place to recover and relax after big adventures and expeditions and conveniently located with spectacular views. The massage was perfect and just what I needed after a long river trip. The best in the west.

HoZho Spa is located on the premises of Bluff Dwellings. I had an excellent hot stone massage from Sky, who I believe manages the spa operation. Intake process identified areas that needed work, and there was good communication throughout regarding pressure. After several days of hiking and camping, this was a real treat.
