Downtown Chicago, relatively close enough to Wrigley field. Hotel is cheap enough. Kind of a mixed review. No breakfast, and the lounge wasn't open. No nightcaps. However our rooms were nice and clean. The place has a bit of a punk rock theme. It works for us. The elevator looks like the bottom of a skateboard or a well traveled guitar case. Musical decor in the lobby. Good place for skateboarders to stay on a trip. Great place for a rock band. They seem cool.

Room was a little smaller than expected, and the bathroom had a step up that I missed the first time. It's also a little tiny for 2 people over 6' tall, but it got the job done. Everything was clean, I'd just look at a bigger room next time! Great location. Walking distance to plenty of food and about 1.3 miles to Wrigley!

Nice cozy hotel located in a great location close to public transportation restaurants grocery stores..the hotel has nice decoration and friendly staff..the room small but comfortable. The only bad experience the clean the rooms every three days and u get charge for two bottles of water , free for members only and regular guests pay for it..i got charged 6 dollars. If u drink them...be careful..read the label..i didnt..

All in all, it was a pretty nice day for my fiancé, and I the room was pretty nice. It seemed somewhat newly renovated, but it was just very, very tiny. The walkway into the room felt claustrophobic, and the bathroom's even more so. The actual room had a decent amount of space in the king bed was pretty comfy. The gentleman at the counter was very polite, and it was nice to talk to. If you're looking for a somewhat affordable stay in Chicago, and you're on the smaller side, this is the perfect place for you.

Stayed here for a wedding close by. Funky hotel with modern hip vibe in a neighborhood full of fun bars and restaurants. The elevator is particularly amusing.|Small but functional room, everything worked, good wifi, laid back staff. Can recommend.

Nice boutique hotel. Quirky, which adds to its charm. The rooms are quite dated and a tad bit funky. If you like posh and polish and perfection, pass on this place. But if you like character and a little oddity, this place is good and convenient to the areas north of downtown (Lincoln Park ish).

They’re a Hilton affiliate and didn’t offer the Diamond benefits I love. But that didn’t matter much as the front desk staff were all nice and easy to deal with.

Wish we’d had a view of something other than a brick wall…but we weren’t in the room for the view so not a huge problem. The rooms, however, are not soundproof, so if you’re enjoying adult activities, the other guests will almost certainly hear.

This hotel is in a great location. There are numerous restaurants and stores within walking distance. The neighborhood is vibrant and walkable. The hotel itself is located on the upper floors of a historic building. Yes, it’s old, and it shows. It’s part of the charm in my opinion. Everything was spotlessly clean and fresh, and for the price, I can’t complain. The hotel was recently converted to the Hilton portfolio of brands and renovations are underway. As a result, there is no restaurant at the moment, and valet parking is unavailable. A parking garage is located a block away, and there are so many other food options nearby that this wasn’t a major issue. The staff at the front desk were all very hospitable and welcoming. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future and look forward to seeing the results of the updates being made to the facilities.

I had planned a surprise trip for my husband to see the cubs vs rangers at Wrigley...... Unfortunately, due to the insane storms,flooding and hail, we were unable to make our trip.

Absolutely the best customer service I have experienced in decades !!!!! Very kind, genuine,helpful and determined to make our day better.
Though we were unable to make our trip, we will now stay only at Versey because of how wonderful Neal was to us.

Thank you Neal, it was truly a breath of fresh air knowing there is good kind people still out in the world.
