Stayed in a two bed suitenA HUGE bug came out of the tub drain! Toilet was clogged so housekeeping gave ME a plunger. After I unclogged it the tub ended up being clogged so we couldn't take showers. I was charged a $25 late check fee for being 1/2hr over check out time, even though I ended up staying another day. When I asked for a different room I was given a single bed so I went back to the front desk and asked for the same type of room and was sent to a smaller two bed room. At that point I settled for whatever I got and decided to just avoid this hotel in the future.

I stayed in this hotel for 5 days. When I first arrived I noticed this place looked nothing like it was advertised. I came in expecting a hotel and not a mediocre motel. The room had an unusual smell, the A/C was in a separate room and it was useless. There were lots of sketchy people at night, a lot of construction workers staying there so it was loud. The adjacent room was loud and overall it did not feel safe inside this “hotel”. I feel scammed, disappointed, and surprised at how lousy this place is and how it resembles nothing of what they claim they are. If you have a family I urge you to find another hotel, this place is a very unsafe location for you and your children. The door looks like it can be knocked down by anything. This place makes motel 6 look like a 5 star resort. I would rate this a one star but the front desk people were nice. STAY AWAY!!!!

Hotel Palmeras has become my go-to hotel in the area. This is my fourth stay, and I've always ended up extending my reservation. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the prices are unbeatable. I love the convenient location and the relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend Hotel Palmeras to anyone looking for a great value and a comfortable stay.

I entered the room and in 5 minutes I left. The smell inside was terrible. And guess what...the hotel did not refund me. I have respiratory problems and could not stay at a place with such strong chemical smell. Even with the doors opened it was unbearable. THEY DENIED TO REFUND MY MONEY!!!!

The feont desk staff was super friendly. The room was amazing for the price. I got 2 separate bedrooms for $106. Very clean. Coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. Free wifi. if i come back I will definitely stay here again.

No TV service for 5 days, our key card would not work and front desk would not answer phone. They would rarely open the office door, we would be outside our room waiting for someone to help with key card DAILY.
The front desk said they’d someone to fix our TV but hadn’t for 3 days then told us they couldn’t “reboot” so there was no fix. Also, they have NO security so the pool was open 24/7 with people screaming and drinking, police showed up 2 different days during our stay.

HOUSEKEEPING WAS GREAT, and the older maintenance guy was nice too.

I have yet to check out. Here are my notes up to this point:

1. Staying with our baby on a family trip and rented two rooms. We called when we were booking a reservation to confirm that they had a pack 'n' play for our baby to sleep in. First red flag should have been that the manager, a Spanish speaker who doesn't speak English well, hung up on my wife. When we called back again, it was her and she denied hanging up but did, indeed, confirm that they have a pack 'n' play.

2. We called again two weeks ago to confirm that they do have a pack 'n' play. They confirmed that they do.

3. We show up. No crib. I ask for a solution to go get one for them to keep after we use it tonight and they can comp us the price of the pack 'n' play. No. They offer us 15% off the price of ONE room, no compromise and the gal at the front desk says, "take it or leave it." So I guess they would rather have none of our business or give us like $25 off for a $65 dollar purchase we'll make for a single night. We have a pack 'n' play at home that we would have brought if we knew they didn't have one.

Because I believe customer service can be fixing a wrong, I'll amend this with high praises if they'll do what's right.

Finally... The front door looks like someone tried kicking in the bottom of the door and it's still unsealed. In addition there is no lock over the windows above the shower/tub.

Update- they offered us $18 off the room after we purchased a pack 'n' play and offered to give it to them if they reimbursed us the cost. They thought 15% off one of the rooms was more than fair. I disagree. Terrible cleaning, horrible service, nasty neighborhood and they just don't care. They probably don't give a rip about the bad review and I'll either get no response or a copy/paste answer from the owner.

super friendly staff when checking in. Room was very clean and a great value. I got 2 rooms for $106. microwave, fridge, TV in each bedroom. also, there was a coffee maker. shampoo, conditioner, body wash, all provided.
