Throw back to old 1920’s decor in lobby. Rooms are spacious and come with a phonograph player and albums. Nice touch. Shower has two heads to enjoy. Bed was comfortable. As a traveling single woman felt very safe. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Hotel has a downstairs restaurant and bar and when open a beautiful rooftop bar and restaurant. I will definitely return.

The hotel and staff went above and beyond for us for our wedding night stay. Would absolutely recommend. Beautiful room, delicious food, and great service! Great location as well, many restaurants to walk to in addition to the in-hotel option.

We stayed to get out the house away from our 2 babies and was not disappointed. We started out eating at the bar with a few drinks. The food is always good and the costumer service as well. We did not have to leave the hotel because of the evening the rooftop. A great all in one place to stay.

Wonderful hotel experience. Service was exemplary, and rooms were clean. The only recommendation I would give is to have half firm and half soft pillows. For a 60 year old couple, the completely glass shower made us chuckle.

Stayed at this property while visiting family at Beloit College. The room was beautiful, with an amazing shower included. The staff all went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed! Had dinner and dessert at the hotel’s Velvet Buffalo restaurant. Great food and service there as well! Wonderful midwestern hospitality! Would definitely recommend!

This was the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel; we’ve stayed in the Silhouette Room and the Signature Room. The staff was super friendly, the hotel was clean and our room was very nice. We especially enjoyed the record player in our room and brought some of our own records to play along with the hotel’s selection. We stayed on the third floor this time and we couldn’t hear anything in our room from other rooms or the rooftop bar. Had a great time and we’ll definitely go back again in the future.

One of our favorite parts about staying at Hotel Goodwin, aside from the amazing showers, are the record players and records that come in every room.

For the past 11 years my wife and I have been together, every time we go somewhere together on vacation we will try and find a record store so we can have the music to remind us of our trip.

We did just that at Tin Dog records in Beloit and checked into our room excited to play our new tunes on the classics.

The record player was broken. And for that I deliver 2 stars.
