The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The cheese omelette, danish, apple juice and coffee were tasty. The free airport shuttle was great. Thanks! .

Hotel 1550 is a wonderful place to stay when you're traveling and need to get to SFO! In addition to offering free parking, they also offer a free shuttle service to the airport!

Not only is the staff friendly when you check in, but, their emails welcome you before you get there, letting you know what to expect and how to make the most of your stay.
My room was very simple but very clean! Spotless!

There was some noise from the hallway and street, but, I found it easy to sleep. The bed was comfortable.

They offer a complimentary continental breakfast.

The neighborhood seemed so-so but I was appreciative that I could get to the airport in under 10 minutes!

Hotel 1550 with its location, cleanliness, free shuttle service to the airport, and friendliness of staff is a great find!

This place was great! We got are flight cancelled and we are not from the area we booked online and it was a super easy process.We got there a few hours before the check in but they only charged us $25 for checking in early so that was nice.It was super clean and the staff were super nice.For the shuttle back to the airport we just let them know what time we needed it for and they made sure to take care of the time we needed.I would recommend staying here if you have a layover or just in general and they have breakfast included and the shuttle as well so it was well worth are money.Would recommend staying here.

The young Indian man at the desk who greeted us upon arriving Friday late afternoon always had a beautiful smile on his face, making us feel welcome as he explained breakfast hours, etc. He was very professional, representing your facility really well. Give that man a raise! Room was clean and bed extraordinarily comfortable. Well-done! Thank you!

Our flight at SFO did not work out so We had to find a hotel at one in the morning ASAP. I called a bunch of places only to get an automated message at most hotels. I finally got a hold of Kevin at Hotel 1550 and He was great. Told Me He could hold the room for a half hour so We hopped in a ride share and got to the hotel. He checked Us in quickly and even offered Us a late check out for the next day as Our flight is in the evening. The hotel room was spacious and clean and the continental breakfast was pretty good as well. Great place to stay, Thanks to Kevin for the awesome service

Had to book a last minute stay coming from SFO and they were great. We got in late and the front desk person, Kevin made us feel welcomed after a long day (our flight was delayed 5 hours).
Having a place to park was so convenient. The continental breakfast was good, they had cheese omelette and pancakes on top of the usual items. you just needed to nuke them in the microwave. I would come back here next time I’m in the area

We wanted to stay at a hotel that had early morning scuttle service to SFO. It was an easy little hotel to find and all of the staff were very accommodating. The room was very clean and the beds were comfy. The pillows are stellar and abundant. Exceeded our expectations and highly recommended

Do not stay at this hotel,
horrible experience. It's a small hotel who have no professionalism or have the courtesy or knowledge of how to run a business. The girl at the counter was on her phone the whole time and at never acknowledged people coming in or out. The first issue was that they wanted to charge me extra because my daughter used the bathroom in the lobby to do number 2. This is a 10 year old girl. They said she left the bathroom smelling and dirty. I told her what did you expect, her poop doesn't smell like flowers. They tried to blame her and say she dirtied the sink with something sticky, when all she did was wash her hands after using the bathroom. I asked them to provide me with pictures if it was so dirty like they claimed, which it wasnt because all she did was use the toilet and sink to wash her hands. They said I should have gone in to spray down the bathroom and wash the sink. The facility where I am paying to stay and use facilities!!!! I have never ever had a hotel tell me that I had to clean a restroom or I will be charged. They are delusional and ridiculous. Either they are racist and don't like Hispanic families or were just trying to find some excuse to charge extra money. In addition, the mattress was horrible and the room smelled moldy. We asked for an extra blanket and they told me to come back later. I went back 2 hours later and they told me to go back again. I went a 3rd time and still no blanket. Just tell me you cant give me a blanket instead of making me go down and wasting my time. We all had itchy ankles and red bumps all over so I am assuming it was bed bugs. The breakfast consisted of a yogurt, packaged croissant, apples and coffee guess you get what you pay for. I am a frequent traveler and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. I have NEVER written a bad experience in any of the hotels I have stayed but I was appalled at the service and quality of this hotel. The only good thing was the location which was next to the airport. Be warned, do not waste your time. There are plenty of other hotels in the area. Don't waste your money on this one.
