Great place to have a wedding. My cousin just got married on 5/4/19. Owners are wonderful and great. Lots of trees for shade. They also have a cottage for the bride and her ladies to get ready in (the bathroom has a shower). Overall everyone had a great time. If you are looking for a place to get married go check it out!

My husband and I got married here a little over a year ago, and I totally forgot to leave a glowing review. The owners and so hands on and helpful as well as welcoming. If and when you decide to have an event with them they treat you like family. Jack and Judy are so amazing and thoughtful through the entire process of planning, visiting the venue, set up, during our wedding, and with clean up. A huge thank you to Honker Bay foe helping make our wedding day so special for us.

Jack and Judy were amazing to work with! Not only was the venue beautiful the fact that they supply the tables and chairs as a part of the package, and they also very generously clean the whole mess up and leave it ready for you to pick up. I would 100% recommend this venue for anyone to get married at.

Jack and Judy are such kind people and so easy to work with and even just talk to! Their venue is stunning and all our guests thought it was a beautiful place! My nieces wedding was so beautiful, they have the best staff ever. A beautiful pond with the sunlight pictures glistening off the water. They had some beautiful pictures from the wedding because of The Honkers Bay Ranch was very beautiful and green.

Honker Bay Ranch is the perfect place if you are looking for an outdoor wedding!! The grounds are beautiful and very well taken care of. There is plenty of space for a large wedding or a small wedding. My wedding had about 80 people and there was plenty of space. The lake makes a perfect background for your ceremony. There are lights in the trees that are already set up and provide a relaxed atmosphere for your reception. Another perk is that the ceremony and the reception are at the same place so you and your guests do not have to travel between the two. One lesson learned is to make sure you take some type of bug spray with you. I got married the end of May and there were no misquotes but other bugs that just a bother (did not bite).
As amazing as the grounds were they pale in comparison to Jack and Judy. Jack and Judy were very supportive and laid back about our wedding plans. They will be around as much or as little as you want them to be. Jack and Judy and their staff were helpful and friendly to us and our guests. They provide amazing service and are very flexible. There are very few rules that they enforce on a couple. Jack told me many times "you are the Queen, you can do what ever you want" and I basically could. Jack and Judy run a family business and made us feel like we are part of their family. Thank you for such a beautiful venue, and such a wonderful experience on our special day!!!

The venue was beautiful! The Smiths and their staff were amazing! Well organized, prepared and on top of the details! Jack and his wife Judy were great host making sure the event was special! Jack even performed the ceremony! The food was simply as good as it could be! Barbecue pork shoulder and half chickens prepared by Joe Smith and crew! They truly made this a special event! Thank you so much!

I'm a wedding DJ, so this review is from the DJ's point of view.

This is a beautiful outdoor venue! The dance floor is centrally located with the bar and reception area on either side. The ceremony area is down a bit by the water, but close enough for wireless microphones to work properly.

Overall, a very nice venue with plenty of space for a nice ceremony and reception.
