I'm a sucker for a locally owned greasy spoon that's actually good and this place is definitely one of them!

Great prices, great service and the food was delicious. I had a delicious breakfast here. The western omelet was probably one of the best omelets I've ever had and that's usually something I don't expect from a small diner. Don't sleep in this place if you want a good meal!

We really enjoyed Homeside today. It was our first visit to the Huntsville Road location. I had a Western Omlet that was a good size and packed full of goodness! My wife had whole fried catfish that was flavorful and cooked perfectly! Done but not overdone or dry. My daughter had a generous serving of French toast and, unusually for her, cleaned her place. Our waitress, Erin, was attentive but not intrusive and was very helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. We recommend Homeside for a comfortable, tasty, satisfying meal!

I found this awesome place through Google maps while in Florence for a doctor's appointment and I sure am glad I did bc it was absolutely delicious!!! I have never seen biscuits and sausage in such a large portion. The bacon was so good and the eggs was perfect. The service was impeccable. The ladies was all so nice and helpful. My mom and I will definitely be back when in the area.

Love this place! Took my mom and she hasn't quit talking about what a treat it was! The service was excellent and the food was too! We had the Western omelette and the 2 eggs with bacon plate. Plus biscuits (that are huge!) and chocolate gravy. Tea was perfect! Everything was absolutely delicious! If you want a meal like Momma or Mamaw used to make, this is your spot!

Great restaurant! Food and service was excellent! We wanted to eat “local” rather than a chain. Our waitress was very friendly. They had “chocolate gravy” on the menu, which my wife had not had since she was a child and I had never had. Actually, I had heard about it, but never seen it on a menu. Our waitress was kind enough to bring a small sample for me to try. It was good, I would probably put it on ice cream rather than a biscuit.

If we get back to the Florence area, we will definitely be eating breakfast at Homeside again.

Very good "meat and three". Open for breakfast and lunch only. Daily specials for lunch, featuring well prepared veggies to accompany a variety of meat dishes. Good "old fashioned" breakfasts. Courteous, professional and timely service. Very reasonably priced.
