The staff couldn't be nicer, always gracious and accommodating. They take their job very seriously and make you feel at home. Nice hotel, very clean, great breakfast options. The real 5 star rating comes with the beds. Very comfortable and easy to get good rest!!

I usually stay in Carbondale when visiting family at a competitor hotel. No longer. This place was a gem. Very well run, I was greeted as a rewards member, my room and bedding were top notch for the price. The service from the housekeeping staff and the breakfast team was excellent and very cheerful. I actually used the pool and hot tub, they were far better than what I have seen at other similar hotels in recent years. As stated before, I used to default to competitor hotels, but no longer. I am Holiday Inn fan now!

Newer hotel / remodel, staff was great, check-in was flawless. The whole hotel was spotless! Rooms had usb outlets located for ease of use. Newer smart tv set up for streaming if desired - would be great for families w kids!

My kids and I love to get away from time to time at this hotel location. Always have a great experience. We go just to get away from everyday life as if we're on a mini vacation. The breakfast is always amazing and we enjoy swimming and relaxing. It's a great experience each time.

This is a great hotel with excellent service. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Everything is clean & very updated. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful! Those cinnamon rolls are phenomenal! We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

The staff here are incredible. From Raven and Nate at check in to the very friendly elderly lady that works in the breakfast lounge to the young black lady who also works in the breakfast lounge and sometimes at the front desk(I’m sorry for not having names). This lady’s smile and attitude are infectious and make ME smile every time I see her.

Positive: The food was good, and they provided a nice variety. Staff in the dining room were very nice and they made sure the food was adequate. Negative: In the first room we were given, food, drinks and an ice bucket with melted ice water were left in the refridgerator. The heat did not work. It would only blow cold air. They gave us another room, which we moved ourselves to. The rest of our stay was ok.

Motel was clean and staff was all friendly. Rooms were comfortable. Location was good had a few places to eat and a Walmart and dollar store if needed close.
