Great Holiday Inn Express! Electric charging at the ampm next door. Room and hotel were very clean. Breakfast was nice with a great selection of different items. Shower water was hot . If you really want to be picky there was a little bit of freeway noise but it was soft. I would definitely stay again! Sara checked us in late and was very nice.

The reception staff during check-in and check-out were friendly, courteous and quite welcoming. My 2nd floor room was large, spotlessly clean, and it was completely quiet overnight. The hot breakfast was delicious. Maria was cheerful and attentive as she checked to make sure everything was right with the selections. A great experience all the way around. Hands down the place to stay in Merced. A++

Maria‘s services downstairs with the food was amazing. Really good food. I would rate it five stars. Her service was fantastic. Very kind. Very nice. Make sure there was never food missing and I love that about her. The housekeeping they are very good team and services too, all the time the room it’s was clean and they was very nice people

I have stayed here several times over the last few months, and each time has been a wonderful experience. The hotel staff are all very professional and welcoming. I have got to know the front desk staff, and all are plesant and professional. The breakfast has been excellent. Maria, who repairs the breakfast, is excellent and is always willing to make sure you have what you need with a smile and good morning greeting. Thanks, everyone, for your hospitality.

Loved the stay, we arrived late from Yosemite, was really convenient situated and had an easy check, everything was smooth and nice. Room was clean and very spacious. Perfect. I saw a pool and hot tub which we did not use, but would love to if we had a longer stay.

I grew up in Merced and visit occasionally. I have stayed at many hotels and motels. I use Holiday Inn frequently because it offers good value. The parking is easy. Staff are always friendly. I wish it had a better view, or on the pool side, that it wasn’t so loud. But overall, the rooms are nice and I enjoy the free breakfast. There is a keurig coffee maker and mini fridge. Bathroom had shower and tub and bath products.

I loved how clean this property was. From the lobby and elevator to the room, you can tell they really pay attention to the cleanliness factor. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was enjoyable and what I would expect. The only reason I knocked a star off is because I booked through my IHG app and set my room preference to be away from the elevator (I do this for safety purposes) and the room was actually next to the elevator. Additionally, it was extremely noisy as a result. The constant DING, doors whooshing open/closed and all the loud talking from people getting off and on was pretty disruptive going into the evening. Luckily, it didn't go late into the night but it was inconvenient nonetheless. That's the first time I've ever stayed next to the elevator in all the years I've been staying at various Holiday Inn Express properties so it wasn't a huge deal but I hope I get luckier next time with room preferences.
