We didn’t know what to expect from this hotel since it’s our first time in Illinois for my son in love Navy graduation. But we were not disappointed at all. Very nice and comfortable, the staff were awesome and very helpful. Great breakfast as well. Price was very reasonable, Also gave us so much info on how to get to the graduation without major traffic. It’s not far from the Naval base. Great location if you’re going there for the Navy graduation. We truly appreciate their hospitality’s and kindness.

Upon entry to the hotel, we were greeted and spoken to while a staff member checked in another guest. He was very friendly and informative, told us about what food was nearby and where everything was located. Told us about the breakfast and what time that was in the mornings. He made sure we were aware of the $75 incidentals fee which was helpful. He thanks me for being an IHG member which was very nice. Room was clean, bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom was a bit small but suited us fine for 2 nights. We didn't eat breakfast but was nice it was available for us. Lots of well lit parking and felt like a very safe area. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy stay for the money and location. 10/10!

On previous travels, we've stayed in another well-known hotel chain, typically without any issues. The last time we stayed in two different hotels from this chain, and they both had bed bugs. This time, we decided on a Holiday Inn Express. This hotel was great condition, clean, and best of all, critter free and the bed was really compfortable. One room feature is that the toilet and bathtub/shower is in a separate room whereas the sink is part of the main room. I prefer a completely separate room for all bathroom features. The breakfast was adequate and included yogurt, cereal, eggs, sausage, buiscuits and gravy, pancakes, fruit, oatmeal, and bread selections. The staff was great, with the only exception that one individual who manned the breakfast appeared to have sullen demeanor and seemed anxious to close downt the breakfast area before the 9:30 closing time. This didn't affect us because we had finished, but we found it a bit rude. Overall, the hotel stay was good. I also look for a hotel with a fitness room with weights, and while not well equipped, it was adequate for the short term.

This hotel was perfect for my son's navy graduation. It was about 10 minutes away and they gave us a map with an alternate route of how to get there so we weren't stuck in traffic. The front desk workers were very helpful with restaurant suggestions and giving us extra paper plates and utensils. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. It was nice to have 24 hour access to hot coffee and tea. The walls are a little thin, so maybe bring ear plugs. The breakfast is plentiful, but not amazing quality. From what I could see, it's the best option if you are going back and forth from the navy base. Enjoyed our stay!

Stayed here for Navy Graduation and we were very pleased! The staff were very welcoming. The Front Desk employee gave us a short cut map to graduation that shaved off a lot of time and bypass the traffic jam onto base. The breakfast each morning was good. Only thing that wasn't great was we had to take a family member to the airport at 4am, went down to get coffee and it was so cold we threw it out. But if that's all there is to complain about, you'll enjoy your stay!

I loved the hotel. It was clean, cozy, and quiet. The front desk people were extremely helpful and friendly, and the manager was even in the military himself. They have a free shuttle for the graduation, which was very helpful. Room was cleaned every day and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Bed was very comfortable and the shower stays hot. Thank you for accommodating us

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for our sons Navy Graduation. We had printed two pages of information and directions on how to proceed to the Base, to attend the graduation ceremony.

As we walked in the hotel lobby we were greeted with a smile by the front desk Agent, DA.

He was incredibly welcoming, professional, and helpful with directions and recommendations on attending the graduation. His exceptional knowledge of the graduation ceremony proceedings made it an exceptional experience!!

Rooms were spacious and very clean!
