Stayed at the hotel due to our flight home being canceled. Could not have asked for more! Close to the airport, clean, friendly staff and a free breakfast...was absolutely perfect for our needs! Had a small "market" at the front desk with a small variety of drinks and snacks. One thing we did notice in our room was you can hear walking around from the room above you. Not a deal breaker for us as this property provided the perfect, layover stay! Would stay again and would recommend to anyone who was in a similar/same situation.

Very clean and nice hotel. Friendly staff and good morning breakfast. This has got to be one of the cleanest hotels I have been to. The rooms had not a single crumb, the carpet had a couple small stains but other than that even the pullout sofa was clean with no crumbs. Pool is on the smaller side and was not heated.

This is a great airport location. ||The rooms are clean, bed is a little hard but ok for a night, friendly staff, good breakfast. It is off the flight path so fairly quiet too. ||Note: After booking here I found out they did not have a courtesy shuttle to the airport anymore. I tried to get one through the holiday inn across the street, but they don’t allow the guests staying here to use it anymore. The staff suggested getting an uber. After walking around the area I found out there is the airport tram about an 8 minute walk from here. Very easy as long as the weather cooperates.

We stayed as part of a trip to attend a conference in Kenosha Wisconsin. The location was good for getting out of airport, and onto the ground transportation to Kenosha. We stayed a day/night after the conference to visit the city. Fortunately we had a perfectly sunny - blue skies - and even a bit cool sunny day! We were pleased with the room and an upper floor had a fine view of the airport and western sky. The hotel van to Ohare departures was convenient but apparently may have some delays of off hours: so be sure to ask in advance. A note of caution for walkers: crossing the street to the hotel property should be quick (just go when it is safe). It may not be wise to cross with children or with disabilities that can't be hasty. Be careful! We were amused to see SO MANY rabbits around the property that is adjacent to an urban stream with native (I guess) tall grasses: the bunnies loved hiding the tall grass and eating the green grass along the stream and around the hotel.

The staff was incredibly welcoming on my solo stay. Veronica noticed I was there for Jingle Ball for my birthday alone and made it extra special. She gave great trip tips! Area was perfect to walk to event and visit the nearby downtown area for a movie and eats. Everything was decorated for Christmas! The room was so comfy and I was able to relax. Had a great trip and hope to stay again!

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Desplaines was exceptional. The staff was great/very considerate at taking care of my needs, the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, the hotel/hotel room was very clean and tidy, breakfast was amazing. I could go on and on about how perfect the stay was for my Valentine’s Day weekend but it’s best to book a room to see for yourself!

My wife and I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express because it is close to several countertop distributors we were shopping at for a condo renovation. Also I am a IHG rewards member, and have stayed at several Holiday Inn Express locations. I continue to stay at Holiday Inn Express because of the overall experience. This location in particular is well managed, and Armando was very accommodating of our extra requests. They have an excellent breakfast, with a wide variety of choices including the delicious hot and gooey cinnamon rolls. The room had a step-in shower (not a bath tub) which I prefer. New and modern American Standard fixtures and a lighted mirror (the latest trend). The king size mattress was very comfortable with minimal disruption when my wife tossed and turned. Also a huge 65" flat screen is very nice for watching TV. This is a truly great hotel, we had zero issues staying here, and all of our needs were met. Great job!

I called from Las Vegas airport at night, looking for accommodation for the next day with a difficult schedule—arriving in Chicago at 6 AM and leaving after noon. Melisa was incredibly kind and empathetic, helping us over the phone with a reservation. When we arrived at the hotel, we met Melisa, who assisted us with the check-in. Melisa, you are amazing!
