We walked in with a reservation for a queen suite. There were a couple checking in as we walked in, and I overheard the gentleman at the desk say, "I'm going to upgrade your room to a queen suite at no extra charge." The people seemed very happy and went on about their business. My wife went to the desk, gave our name, and was told sorry we are sold out of queen suites. If you would like, I will upgrade you to a king suite(which costs less than we paid for the queen). We said no because the queen has 2 queen beds, and the king has 1 bed and a sleeper sofa. Sorry, but I'm for one not making my daughter sleep on a pullout bed and two, What about the price difference?
My real question is simple why would you give someone an upgrade when you know the room has a reservation? I don't think we will ever be using this location again, and maybe we won't be staying at Holiday Inn again.

We stay at Holiday Inn’s twice a month for volleyball tournaments and this was probably the best stay we’ve had. The staff were amazing, the room was clean, location was good, breakfast was stocked and good. The pool looked nice, but we didn’t use it. The only small complaint I have, which really wasn’t that big of a deal…the bed wasn’t as comfortable as I’d like (it was rather hard for me), but you can’t please everyone. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area again.

Had a great stay. Very nice breakfast. The lady that runs the breakfast needs a raise! No matter how much she makes. She was wonderful! 20 minutes to downtown from this hotel. Not bad at all.

When we got there we were greeted very kindly and staff was very happy. We got checked in fast and easy, got our key then headed to our room. The music was good and relaxing, the place was spotless we loved it! Our room was awesome and bathroom as well.

We had a good experience at the hotel. The staff was personable, and our check-in/check-out process was relatively quick. The room and bathroom were clean, nice, and of decent size. We had a room with a king-size bed, and it was comfortable as well. The breakfast was surprisingly good for a hotel. I also thought it was a cute touch that they decorated the lobby for the holidays.

Lastly, I've read some other reviews, and although I did not desire to use the pool, I wanted to point out that it is still not operable for those who chose a hotel for that specific reason.

Overall, we would return in the future should we need a hotel.

My boyfriend and I were here for a family trip to bury one of his loved ones. In a stressful situation, Victoria was truly excellent in assisting and accommodating. The staff overall was fantastic. Rooms were updated and clean, and for once hotel products were versatile enough for my hair as well. They offer free toiletries if you forgot something and every room we were in was great. Breakfast was great and is included in your stay.

The staff at this location need to be retrained. The front desk person that checked me in was good, breakfast attendant was great, front desk day 2 worst experience I’ve ever had and I travel a lot for work. I didn’t even stay the second night. I checked out at 8 pm and went to another hotel. On day 2 the room was not cleaned and the smoke detector alarm went off for 3 hours after I asked to have it looked at no one came and I had to bring down my own dirty towels to ask for clean.

Poor customer service overall and I will not be going back. I travel extensively for work and typically stay at another brand. I saw this was a new hotel so I tried it. There’s a reason I left staying at this brand years ago and this is why. Inconsistent application of basic customer service experience. The hotel is beautiful but it will remain empty unless something changes.

By far, the best hotel breakfast experience I've had in a while! Like the bacon was perfectly crispy, waffle maker worked perfectly, eggs didn't taste like powdered eggs. That alone makes me want to come back!!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating...upon check in, I had a card and a voucher for a free snack/drink.

Only downside is the shower water wasn't as hot as I like (it wasn't cold though, I love showers that melt my skin lol)
