Good location right off the highway. Walking distance from other hotels, some restaurants and gas stations. Short drive to other restaurants and stores like Walmart. Fairly new. Very clean. Great customer service. Average breakfast. We just so happen to have been there during a bikers weekend and a wedding party on our floor. A little noisy, no fault of the hotel. Everyone was nice. The heater for the short time we used it because cool at night was noisy. Also because the doors are so heavy when they automatically close you can hear it when people are leaving their rooms. I’m not sure if all Holiday Inn mattresses are hard and a little uncomfortable. Other than that I would say it’s worth giving this location a try.

It is very nice hotel right off of interstate 59 I was staying her for the Alabama game and the room was very nice I didn’t like how the ac kept turning on and off whenever. And very much liked the gated parking but when I got there to check in the hotel tried to charge me twice for my stay after already taking the money out that morning I was very upset about that but we got it worked out after the other worker came over and hit a button and put the money back into my account so I could pay there. But overall the hotel was nice and very reasonable priced!

I can't express enough how much I love this hotel. It is beautiful, the beds are actually comfortable and the staff are the absolute best. The 3 employees that stood our the most to me are the 2 sweet ladies at the front desk. And a lady named Danielle and mary who worked the front desk was amazing. I don't know how much they make but I do know they deserve a raise. I love this hotel and I love the staff almost as much as the cookies God bless all of y'all!

From start to finish! I was greeted by two amazing ladies who got me checked in and full of conversation. My room was clean and so comfortable. The big fluffy pillows were perfect. The next morning, checking out was a breeze. The breakfast was awesome, a plethora of delicious foods.

The hotel is beautiful! Housekeeping was very very sweet. Breakfast was mediocre. The pool was pretty but too cold & unbearable for my kids to swim. When asked to turn up the pool , for some odd reason , it kept getting back to freezing temperatures. But on the website , it promotes a heated pool which was my whole purpose of booking it.
I got stuck on an elevator with my mom , my sister , & my niece for a hour. The staff claimed that has never happened before so no one really knew what to do. Their keys didn't work. My mom had to call 911. The firefighters & the police were called. But they couldn't get their key to work either so ended up just prying it open. The level of concern when we got out of the elevator was HORRIBLE from the firefighters to the hotel staff. I was very irate & upset because that was an EXTREMELY terrifying experience & I didn't even receive an apology. It definitely ruined my whole vacation experience & I won't be returning to Alabama. But I will try another Holiday Inn.

I had to stay in this area for a couple days, so I chose the Holiday Inn.

(-) Check-in took way too long for a room already booked online.
(- - -) Breakfast was miserable, overcooked sausages, tasteless scrambled eggs, tasteless processed taters, no salt and pepper available at the "buffet", orange juice was a mix of 99 % water and something added to make the water a little colored, the coffee is very average...
(+) The bed is comfortable and seems clean
(- -) The cleanliness of the shower and bathroom is very questionable. A few hairs stuck to the shower wall...
(- -) There is a smell of I don't know in the hotel and in the room I had, like cigarettes or cigars
(-) Works all around, noise from running generator/motors pollutes the silence
(+) Internet speed is ok at 40-50 Mbps, could be better, could be worse
(-) The mini fridge is at its maximum setting and cannot keep my thermometer in the food zone (still in the spoilage zone after 24 hours in the fridge)

Super new hotel with coffee machines. First holiday inn express with coffee machine ive seen, not that it matters but it was a nice surprise 🙂
Gated parking accessible via room key.
Very clean. Kind staffs. Highly recommend!
