Very kind and courteous staff, everyone we encountered was extremely helpful professional. Made us feel welcomed and appreciated. They lobby was decorated for the holidays and was very warm and homey. The breakfast offered a ample supply of food and a great selection. The pool and spa area for clean and ready for use. The pool is much larger than most hotels, can't wait to come back in the summertime and use it. I did use the hot tub as far as my physical therapy from hip surgery very warm and toasty. Will be coming back again

So much good for the price! Great things available in the nutritious, delicious breakfast.
Staff kind and helpful. Bring good ear plugs if you awaken easily...the nearby trains seem incessant. Would be ok if they didn't lean on the horn! (No fault of the hotel).
Enjoyed the pool & Hot Tub:) Overall a good stay:)

I selected the hotel because of it's location. I had a long day - up and out at from home in San Jacinto at 5 a.m. - and an event scheduled to go until midnight in Ontario, CA. Plus, I had an early morning commitment in Riverside the next morning. It was a drizzly day and I didn't want to be tired on the road headed home. Holiday Inn Express - Colton was the answer.
The cost, the free breakfast and the free wi-fi were amenities that sealed the deal. The breakfast had a LOT of choices. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I was greeted when I arrived and the lady that checked me out the next morning had the BEST customer service that I've experienced in a while. I have already recommended the hotel to a few people and would definitely stay there again myself.

This was my second visit to this property. My stay was outstanding. My guest room was clean, spacious, working refrigerator and microwave. Excellant bathroom services and stocked with plenty of towels and soap products. Great breakfast. My meals were hot. Cooks did a great job. Front desk staff was very helpful/friendly

We are currently staying here as my husband is on a business trip in the area. The area itself is a bit sketchy and right next to the fwy you can hear a train whistle once in awhile as well. But overall I was very impressed with the overall amenities. The breakfast was great they had a good selection. I was impressed by the service. I had called down for towels and they brought them immediately. The staff was friendly and the bed was surprisingly really comfortable. The room was clean. There is a bit of an odor at first but after the air kicked in it seemed alot better. The pool also looked really clean and there was plenty of parking. They had a security guard patrolling the parking area and it made me feel safe.

I stayed for four nights in late September for a conference and would give it like a 3.5/5. The fact that the staff were friendly and the front desk attendant was professional definitely bumps it up by .5. Otherwise, the stay was okay which is fine since this was only a work trip. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but I was still able to sleep just fine. The couch was nice to sit on after a long day of walking. There was a smell in my room when I got there the first night; it wasn't a rotten smell but more of a stale air kind of deal. It was there the rest of the nights and it was fine as long as I ran the AC. Breakfast was free, so I didn't raise any high expectations. I didn't really use the amenities like the pool or gym. It was a clean place to stay for a couple nights and it was fine overall, but this place could use a few tweaks to make it a superb stay.

This hotel is doable for a one night stay, wouldn’t do more than that. Our room was dirty and had stains on the wall as well as white stains all on the blue couch. The view and location of this place is very unpleasant. The amount of homeless and aggressive tweakers is unsettling. You definitely get what you pay for.. wouldn’t recommend just spend an additional $50-100 extra for a better hotel.
I do appreciate the presence of the overnight security guard. The breakfast was filling. The staff was very nice during check in.

We travel alot for the kids' speech and debate team and robotics teams. Holiday Inn has never let us down. Hotel was in a sketchy area with homeless walking around outside, but everything else was great. Price was good- we got a black Friday deal. Free parking, free breakfast with many options, including gluten free muffins and bagels!
